Hannah injured her ankle her true freshman year. It required reconstructive surgery. I believe she was healthy last season.

Another versatile G/F. We are loaded with them. There's gonna be a bunch of girls redshirt next year.

There will also need to be two players on the current roster who don't return next year in order to make space for these two transfer players.

She’s 5’5” and shot just 33.9% from 3 last year. 42.1% the previous year. Thinking she must’ve gone through a slump at some point last season. Is she a good defender? She was in HS from what I read.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

If we redshirt some girls does that make the roster #s good?

No, redshirting players still count towards your maximum roster size of 15.

With the exception of the ladies we know are staying for another year, is anyone else graduating that still has eligibility left?

Likely not, aside from the three seniors we know are returning every other player on the current roster is at most in her third year of college. Perhaps there could be one or two injury retirements for players stepping away from the team but staying at MSU for school, that would explain why there are only two players in the Transfer Portal.

Another possible explanation is a foreign player who decided to play back home next year. I would think if that happened, they wouldn't enter the transfer portal (not playing in the US next year).

Very true. I suppose we'll find out soon enough, this type of uncertainly is undoubtedly a more desirable option that having a bunch of players leave and a bunch of open spots to fill!

Tom, who are you referring to? Morales is 5’5” and lead the Big Sky in scoring at 16.4 ppg. Robbins is 6’0” and was at New Mexico. Both are top-flight athletes and defenders.

Was Brook Berry highly recruited coming out of high school? Did they play together at New Mexico? Any comparisons?

It would sadden me but I could see Lindsey Hein retiring. She's had two very difficult foot injuries.

I was thinking the same thing. She could be one on the bubble, unfortunately.

Morales. Sometimes 3-pt shooters go on prolonged slumps over a few games and it wrecks their shooting percentage. Might be the case for Morales last year.Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 12:20 pmTom, who are you referring to? Morales is 5’5” and lead the Big Sky in scoring at 16.4 ppg. Thanks — I read the HS part wrong. If Morales had a 3-pt slump it was probably caused by being Sacramento’s best option by far. She was probably defended tightly by every team in the league, except the Bobcats. Too lazy to look, but what did she hit against us in the upset win? We let her shoot and she responded willingly, hitting 5 or 6 or 7 threes. Maybe we have signed her so that our defense can work on defending three-point snipers.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 4:10 pmMorales. Yes, Brooke had multiple D-1 options. Brooke and Hannah would have entered New Mexico’s program the same year.
