From Tomcat. I only received one of the photos.

I'm gonna try to orientate everyone on these pictures. I'm standing on the top corner of the EZ grandstand. The first (and second pic; same pic) in this post is the west end of the facility. The third is the same end from a different angle.

So, the first pic in the previous post is the west end of the facility. Panning left, the fourth pic of this post is the next pic away from the west, then the first pic is next and then the second and the third is the furthest to the east. Hope that makes sense. Maybe AFCAT can make a post with those pics in that order, if he's not busy. :)

Looks like Stevo invested in a drone, a hot air balloon, hacked the NOAA satellite code, or has a really tall selfie-stick. Everyone else taking pics has to up their game now.

I mean from the drawings and just in general of holding 100 yards of turf with a track around it I knew this building was going to be huge but damn, seeing an aerial view of that outline next to the actual stadium and track... wow. That is going to be massive. What an upgrade for the the football and T&F programs (and other programs that need somewhere to get in out of the cold to train for that matter).

This was my exact thought as well!!!

Also, I hope we can get some "after" photos when the IPF and parking lots are done. That would be incredible.

I drove by this yesterday while passing through town for the first time since this all started. Awesome to see all of the dirtwork happening for not just the IPF but the parking lot improvements too. A lot going on over there.

I had that same exact thought as I passed through this weekend. Going to look great when it’s all completed.

Love that the MSU men’s and women’s fishing teams pond will remain close by as well. The talk of moving it several miles away didn’t seem fair to them. Win win for all

This IPF, the BAC, and the new fitness center pretty much make the MSU training and fitness facilities tops in the Big Sky in my opinion. The new fitness center is going to be incredible in itself. I know, the fitness center is for all students, but it is massive and all the stuff they have in there is top notch.

How was the fitness center funded? Were there any specific donations for it or was it all state budget funds (and student fees)?

I think part of it was using insurance $$ from the gym collapse. But I think it went to a student vote and they voted to increase fees.

Not sure if there was additional state infrastructure funding or not.

I don't have a full answer, but I know the student body voted to increase fees by $58 a semester for full-time (12+ credits) students. That's in addition to the previous health/wellness fees students were already paying. My GUESS is that it's funded by student fees and probably some insurance money from the collapse of the roofs.
