The cmon inn is great, but to get the best game day experience, staying downtown would be better.

This makes zero sense. Would love to see the folio and explanation of those charges.
Also - many of the people that post here already know - I'm in the hotel business. Unless you are bringing the kids, stay away from the cmon' inn during game weekends. The fireplaces suites are fantastic, but the kids will drive you a bit nutty when trying to enjoy the hot tubs.
Kimpton downtown is a solid choice, as is the Residence Inn downtown.
If you want a different experience one night, try the Sage Lodge in the Paradise Valley - great experience.
I love the Bobcats and the Miami Hurricanes an unhealthy level

I checked their web site and found this. I'm not sure this is the fee I was charged but it's the same cost. I booked online and I didn't know about the fee until I checked out and it was labeled a "Check out fee." I didn't use any of these items or partake in any of the amenities. I stay away from mini-bars due to the cost too. I just wanted a room to sleep in. I'm all for paying for stuff that I use but adding on junk fees and not telling me about them until check out is over the top for me. Heck, I think I paid a couple hundred bucks per room already for the night. Personally, I won't stay there again just because they weren't upfront with this before I booked. I'm just making people aware, not trying to tell anyone NOT to stay there. I liked the location and room.BigBruceBaker wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 12:08 pm

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

That sounds just like the "Resort Fees" the Vegas hotels charge for amenities like these even if you choose not to use any of them.AFCAT wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 3:04 pmI checked their web site and found this. Hotels are taking advantage of charging ancillary fees. Stayed at the Springhill Suites in Bozeman recently. Nice newer hotel by the Interstate. They have a standard parking lot just like most hotels. They charge $15 per night for parking. A hidden fee that is becoming almost standard today.

Appreciate the preemptive hospitality! We are booked at the Armory, and I'll reach out on the Board to meet up at a tailgate, appreciate the invites! I can't wait!

Thats exactly what it is - basically just a way to charge more for the room without bumping up the room rate. Its a way to cover operating expenses, however a pretty deceptive practice. Its an archaic practice that is going away in general - which is a good thing.MSU01 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 3:06 pmThat sounds just like the "Resort Fees" the Vegas hotels charge for amenities like these even if you choose not to use any of them.AFCAT wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 3:04 pmI checked their web site and found this. Yeah, and how is something "complimentary" if you get charged for it?BigBruceBaker wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2024 12:31 pmThats exactly what it is - basically just a way to charge more for the room without bumping up the room rate. Re: Best Hotel For Visiting Fans
Sac travels well.
They had an alumni tailgate in bozo 2 yrs ago. Lots of nice folks.
I would expect them to be back again this year.
They party pretty well at home also.
I enjoyed their alumni much more than MSU’s.

I did enjoy my chat with Mr Sundling down there. I need to follow up with him this year. Jimison, Marasko, Person, Sundling tailgate. ?????
Not all hotels are run exactly the same, who would have guessed?
Har har har
You are going to have a great time.
ENJOY

Sac State had an alumni tailgate in Bozeman two years ago? That is dedication, especially since Sac State football hasn't played in Bozeman since 2019.DMMDCats wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2024 1:28 pmSac travels well.
