Defense: The series with young Grebe was encouraging. Need to play him more. I would start him, kid impressed me in two plays. Other than that glimpse of enthusiasm for the D they need to play better.

Offense: RUN THE BALL, get Tommy out of the pocket and let him work. The running game will continue to open up the passing game as it did on the second scoring drive.

Yeah its pretty bad today. I hope they turn it around, but they've been a day late and a dollar short all day long.

Multiple PI calls. The only passes the UNM QB has not completed were when he made the wrong read or was inaccurate. Not sure there has been a single pass defended.

Without Rylan Ortt this would be ugly Defensively! I will keep banging the drum that our LB’s are the key to how this D goes. We need BobbyD to dial in the LB’s. McCade has made a play or two, but Danny is invisible. Not sure if the injury messed with his head, but he needs some fire. Okay done with this rant…

We can win this game, but it will hinge on the Defensive adjustments and IF we stick to running first and throwing second!

Doesn't mean you run to start the drive. If you run for 4 yards on the 1st play you either burn a TO or 15-20 seconds if you get a call in fairly quick. Nothing wrong with how they called that drive to start.

Dial in the LBs by playing young Grebe more kid is a stud. Hustles and makes plays. I would start him right now.

Lack of pressure looks to be trying to get pressure with 4 guys. Has Vigen ever allowed a blitz to be ran in 4 seasons as coach?

We blitzed on the one 3 and out we had in the second quarter I'm pretty sure. It was one of Dampier's wild over-throws.
