I don’t think it was a fumble. I don’t think the call with be overturned after review. Another example of get Tommy out of the pocket. He will never be a pocket passer get him on the move and let him make a play. Roll him out for the love of god.

There's no pocket in seconds they need to roll him out or something. He has no time to run the plays they're trying to run.

Tommy in passing situations has struggled

We do not have one online starter on same position of pre season projected starters. Sliding best 5 around has been okay for run block but pass blocking has struggled and making it difficult for Mellott to get comfortable

I’m seeing a trend. 2 opening drive fumbles on a QB pass…turned into 14 points as D TD’s. Unacceptable. Put the Offense in a place to compete. Stretch the D with outside runs, quick hits up the middle, rotate Tommy on rollouts and keep him out of the pocket, and let him run if he wants.

That play just strengthened my conviction that Tommy is not a pocket passer and calling plays where he has to be a pocket passer does not set him up for success. Get him on the move that what’s he’s good at. He can make things happen on his feet. He is not good as a statue.

This game is beyond disappointing. I expected a close game to the wire. I didn’t expect a flat defense and our senior qb giving up 14 points. Not the end of the world…..there is a lot to work on before conference season starts.
