You guys are going to maybe disagree with me but I'm coming out of this game impressed with our offense and unimpressed with the defense. I get they had 60 transfers and a new offense but we had minimal position changes on D coming into this one. Effort is there but we have been out of alignment A LOT today which is something I did not expect in Game 1 so often. On offense, run game is strong but they are clearly not running Tommy. Passing game needs less pocket but Tommy's throwing it fine...and over the middle! The two fumbles are bad but both getting returned for TDs is "Weber State four safety" nonsense.

I see 11-1 or 10-2. I'm fine debating it until I see otherwise as I think the D is going to get better.

You realize the defense has only given up 17pts.... one td wasn't lack of ability but one player, a young one, playing with bad eyes. Defense isn't doing bad going against a bigger o line...our lbs aren't very fast and aren't very big so they can't patch over but are getting swallowed up in blocks. Against similar talent/size teams I see them looking vastly different

Our passing schemes aren't very good. There's nobody in the middle if the field... you know they are blitzing and all our routes are outside cutting routes. Nothing in the middle of the field for an easy throw

Empty set, they clearly are going to rush 7 on our 5. Ball has to come out but Tommy saw nothing quick. Situational football is usually the earliest test for 1st time playcallers. That one was a learning moment.

I'm watching the game play by play and I played this game at a high level.... they are there to COVER. 1, 4 and 9 have been in coverage and they haven't missed hardly any tackles. If your cbs are getting to the ball carrier it's a safety and lb problem

My buddy and I were screaming this. Announcer even pointed it out. Jones needs to run a quick slant over the middle and he's trying to run a weird stop and go.

You most certainly did not play at a high level if you can't see the CBs and the secondary wit large are very, very mediocre for a FCS team and playing very poorly in this game. Please stop embarrassing yourself.
