Miss st should not have gone for it on 4th and 7 in 4th qtr. Gave griz ball at about 45. Only down 2, punt and pin them deep.

I think the Griz will probably struggle in several of their games. I know they inserted Fife as the QB, but I don't think he's the answer.

I don’t know what to think about them. I couldn’t get a good feel off that game. Some flashes of very good and some pretty poor play as well. Bergen out didn’t help. Ay Yat has some juice for sure. He’s fast and throws a really good ball. Decision making and ball security seem to be his downfall, which will get him in his coach’s doghouse very quickly. They prefer security over upside out of that position.

It was the first game in a long time where they didn’t clearly win the special teams aspect.

They looked over-pumped last night. Sloppy, mistakes, over-pursuit and things of that nature. Where they will get pretty damn good is if they learn to temper that a bit. But on the other hand, playing like that causes the other team to make mistakes. The whole team is a bit of an enigma to me at this point.

They'll blame the close score on the guys that were out but if can only beat a bottom-half MVFC team in your home opener by 5 points that means you don't have depth and better get those guys back for tougher opponents. If they don't return next week I can see them losing at UND.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

I can't speak to their depth because I don't know much about their team but it was three All-Americans they were missing right? On all sides of the ball? If so I think that would effect a lot of teams in the same way, including the Cats. I'm thinking they'll get those guys back and I think they will be a very tough team this year.
