Been out of position and misread a couple plays. Hopefully he turns that around.

Re: Troy Freaking Andersen!
His gap coverage hasn’t been great and the guards have been washing him out badly tonight. Lots of speed and power but still needs to refine his reads.

Troy got blocked into oblivion in that game. The Eagles o-line is really good and he got taken out repeatedly. Kaden Ellis from Idaho with the big pressure on the last play to help cause the interception. Great win for the Falcons.

Did you see who washed the oline in to get Kaden that lane?BelgradeBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 9:31 pmTroy got blocked into oblivion in that game. Troy needs to learn not to engage 300+ pound olineman but other than that I think it's all just working out jitters and getting into the flow. He'll learn.

Bingo. Troy did exactly what he needed to do on that rush. Thing of beauty. Prime example of why most defensive stats don’t normally tell the story.BelgradeBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 9:41 pmIt's a team game and he did his part!technoCat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 9:36 pmDid you see who washed the oline in to get Kaden that lane?BelgradeBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 9:31 pmTroy got blocked into oblivion in that game. I saw Troy showing him this post right before that last drive. Clearly the fire he needed to finally do something.

Re: Troy Freaking Andersen!
His play last night reminded me of his first 4 games at ILB as a Bobcat - eventually the game slowed down for him. He was tentative many times, bad reads, a step slow to get the right fit. I believe he will get it, just takes more game experience. He's been a quick study in everything he's done, I wouldn't expect anything less from him even in the NFL.wbtfg wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 8:50 pmYeah. Re: Troy Freaking Andersen!
I agree. I missed the introductions, did anyone catch if Troy got to introduce himself?
