More MBA applications.

Post by RickRund » Thu Oct 24, 2024 9:53 am

Saw a story on FOX Business that MBA applications are up 12%. People are supposedly wanting to get a leg up in the business world. um has a business curriculum, correct? Might that be reasoning behind their increase in enrollment?

It is not their MBA program that is seeing the growth. They did see growth in incoming freshman and also the retention rate of returning students helped the overall totals. That is a tough number to dissect as it could be fewer people graduating affect that number as well.

They also saw decent growth in a category know as “partnership programs”. Anybody know what that enrollment item is?

I found some explanation of UM partnership programs, but I can’t believe this is correct. It refers to UM students learning abroad at other universities. Is the 801 students included as enrollment actually going to school at a foreign university?
