FBS looks pretty ho hum this week

I wouldn't say FBS is "ho hum", there's 5 ranked vs ranked matchups and 3 other bigger rivalry games (Michigan-Michigan State, Kansas-Kansas State, Florida State-Miami even though Miami will murder them)

But I'll be tuning into that SDSU-USD game. That game will answer a lot of unanswered questions from the Marker game

I’d imagine if Maine pulls this one off they will be ranked. I wouldn’t be surprised if UNCO gives the gris a game. If USD wins then thing start to really get funky

I mean based on the ultra scientific CFTP (College Football Transitive Property) UNCU is a solid 11 point favorite over the Griz.

Maine getting into the top 25 would be great!

It would replace what should have been an opportunity for a ranked win when we play Sac St in a couple weeks.

I would be highly surprised if SDSU doesn't win by 3 scores. Guess the UND/NDSU game jaded me.

Nothing is out of the question as Weber beat the Griz in Missoula.

Well UNCO is to their 3rd (7th) string. So I’d say the gris got this one unfortunately. Although I haven’t watched SDSU and USD a ton I think SDSU should take it. But I do believe that USD has the ability to win one.

Not a great day for ESPN+ viewers after the best game of the day (SDSU/USD) got moved "up" to ESPNU. At least Sac vs ISU should have a lot of points scored even if it's not particularly relevant to the playoffs!

Maine is down 7-14 at half. Still very in the game

NDSU vs Murray State. Five touchdowns in four possessions. One pick six. 35-3 midway through the 2nd quarter. The Bison are not suffering any malaise following the highly charged SDSU game in the FargoDome. Bison just got a second interception.

Murray St. seems to be a perfect example of the FCS apparently accepting anyone that wants to move up. It’s not the team altogether — although they have 59 transfers this year! The QB and one WR are pretty good and they could lose this by 100 points but the Bison have backup offensive players like the QB and RB in already.

The problem is the environment. Embarrassing to put this on TV. The football field has seating only on one side. The other side is simply open to real fields — the agricultural type. The seating that they have is way too big for the few hundred people that may be at the game. There look to be as many Bison fans but it would only take about a half-dozen motorhomes and a 1962 VW van to get enough Fargo people there to have a majority. This is the least D-1 looking field and fans that I remember seeing in FCS. Sad. Division 2 or 3. Carroll College looks like the Super Bowl compared to this.
