Ag Day

Post by TomCat88 » Sun Nov 10, 2024 1:36 pm

Yesterday was Ag Day. The R Bar put on a big feed for the rodeo team and others yesterday.

I’m just wondering what Ag Day is? I see it ran from Nov 4-9.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Celebrate Ag has been around for a while, it was just expanded this year. Really well done by the College of Ag and all involved.

FFA chapters come from all over the state, using the SUB ballrooms for meetings, and have judging competitions at the fairgrounds. Or at least that's where they were 20+ years ago when I was in FFA. Ag Days was always a big deal, and one of the highlights of the fall. Good times and it really helps promote MSU to prospective students. And let's face it, by and large, farm and ranch kids know the meaning of hard work and usually excel in the classroom. Certainly helped solidify my desire to attend MSU...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
