Tommy Freaking Mellott!!!

Cannot say enough, and the plays he's made are too numerous to recount. However, I'm watching the replay now and that first TD, watch his instincts when that defender was coming at him. No idea how he saw that, spun around, started to run, and probably could have run for a TD but saw wide open Rohan.... damn that was sweet.

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Probably the second best game he’s played. First being at UNM. He’s had better numbers but these games put his savvy - as you mentioned about that play - on display.

For years I've wanted great Bobcat QB who was a Montana kid like Dave Dickenson was for the frittzzers. Tommy is that guy.

After he spun away and started to wind up for the throw I was wondering what the hell he was doing, he had an easy 15 yd gain in front of him to get the 1st down.

Then I saw Rohan and how open he was. Made sense.

Tommy had a great game throwing the ball. This offense is so dynamic and hard to stop when they can throw like that if the rare occasion happens where the run game isn’t having its best game.

It's made such a huge difference for him being the only QB. Nothing against Chambers, but Tommy and the whole offense are just clicking so well this year. And I think Tommy and Walker have a much better relationship than he did with Housewright.

The determination of this young man to win is incredible. You can just see it in his face how poised he is to lead us back to Frisco.

Great article. You can almost swap out "Butte" with the "State of Montana" in every instance. So proud to have such a class act at QB1.
