Strong showing by the Northern and Eastern C this weekend in the 8-man playoffs. All 4 north teams and 3 east teams win opening round games. Some of the quarterfinal matchups should be outstanding. Belt hosts Culbertson. Drummond/Phillipsburg hosts Chinook. Fairview host Choteau. Fort Benton hosts Scobey. My predictions….Belt, Chinook, Fairview, and Fort Benton. I think Chinook and Fort Benton win in tight contests. Belt and Fairview each win by 3+ TDs

I suck lol. The Bobcats won the national title my senior year in college (1884/85) and I subsequently bet my roommate a keg of beer that we would repeat in 1985. We went 1-10….

Helena overnight to watch my nephew play against Capitol Friday night in the AA Final and an early drive to Bozeman for Cat-Gris. What a fun football season it’s been.

I agree! It has been a great football season in Montana, and this weekend will be as good as it gets! Cat/Griz, Glacier vs Capital, Billings Central vs Laurel, Malta vs Manhattan, Belt vs Fairview, and Box Elder vs Bridger!

Man I wished the state would change the date on most of those high school championship games to Friday rather than Saturday! I think AA is only Friday game. Others conflict with Cat gris every year it seems like. And I like to attend some of the high school games too.
