Re: Boom 3
Pure speculation and I put it in the other thread but the proximity of booms could be the two from Klein Cain High school? Maxwell Hendrick and Marcus Coleman? Just my hypothesis. I'll sit back and see if I'm right

Re: Boom 3
Yup, both Hendrick and Coleman are the most probable. Baptiste has re-tweeted that area code in both booms.

Re: Boom 3
Klein Cane was somewhat upset last week in the playoffs. If it is Coleman and Hendrick, Big Sky opponents just got a lot slower. Both of these guys can freaking fly and are 6'1" - 6'2" range. I read somewhere that halfway through the season that Coleman had allowed 3 catches against him in over 200 snaps. Great pickups if true!

@AFCAT do you feel that it is Hendrick and Coleman all the way down in your plums?

Re: Boom 3
Plums? Uh, okay. Well, almost every single commit has been followed by Vigen before committing. The only commit that wasn’t followed by Vigen before committing was Parker Mady. That may have been an oversight by Vigen or he figured out he was violating some OPSEC principles and decided to cross us BN recruiting stalkers up a bit. There are a few other offers to various Texas recruits and even some from the Houston area. Those recruits aren’t followed by Vigen and haven’t shown many identifiers that they are interested in being Bobcats. I’ve been surprised by recruits before, so nothing is off the table, but Coleman would be a good bet and to a lesser extent, Hendrick, since he has a bunch of other offers. Both those guys have apparently visited MSU though and would seem to be the most likely candidates. I could see at least one unknown though, but I doubt it. I was hoping for a big Defensive tackle or edge rusher from Texas but that doesn’t look promising right now.

Re: Boom 3
I have a feeling it will be one of those signing day announcements. There are a lot of young players (usually big time recruits) that like to have a ceremonial announcement.

Any idea how signing day will work since the National Letter of Intent isn't a thing anymore?

I'm just guessing that it will still be something similar. They are still signing a document for financial aid.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 12:29 pmAny idea how signing day will work since the National Letter of Intent isn't a thing anymore?

Yeah, you're probably right. No longer a somewhat binding document, but still signing on to come play.AFCAT wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 12:41 pmI'm just guessing that it will still be something similar. "Once a recruit “signs a written offer of athletics aid, other schools that offer athletically related financial aid will be prohibited from recruiting communications with that prospect,” the NCAA wrote, which, in theory, protects programs from prospects continuing to flip right up until enrollment."
