Colter and Gus have such great synergy. Love listening to those two together.

Great episode with Brooks. Just wanted to point out the Cats ran for 200+ last year with Tommy and Julius both going over 100. Colter stated the Cats were held under 100 rushing (or maybe I heard wrong). Regardless, they had success running but never cashed in when it counted. The forced fade routes to TEs on 3rd and 4th down are burned into my memory.

Yes, this is my fault. I mis remembered the numbers just spit balling off the top of my head. The Cats did run the ball. It was the third downs and red zone that thwarted the effort in Missoula.

MSU had 3-4 runs that accounted for half their yards. Vigen mentioned that and that they had more negative carries than they’ve ever had and not many 4-5-6 yard runs. If you make MSU do that, while also limiting the pass game, well, you know… :)

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

The reason yardage was down vs UCD was no big run plays. Steady but longest probably wasn't over 15. That always skews numbers. The negative is more the concern.

Scottre ripped off a 25-30 yard run very early in the game, but yes, after that it was pretty pedestrian...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Didn't realize Gubner was coaching at UM. Based on all the hype last year, (deserved), I thought he was a shoe in to go NFL. Apparently not.

doesn't have the measurables. I believe the knock was too short or something like that.
