Cruzado's Last Cat griz
I hope she rides out on the back of one of the horses and it drops her off in front of the student section!
Talk about getting the crowd hyped!!

I hadn’t thought of that! Yes I’m sure her presence will be visible in the stadium but that would be a great way to honor her and get the crowd pumping!

This makes me sad . She has been so impactful to not only the athletic programs but the university as a whole. She will be missed and I hope they give her a nod at the game and she is given the credit she deserves. We don't get all of these facility improvements and overall campus growth without her. She will leave very big shoes to fill!!

Perhaps she could give the pregame speech to the team? Not that they’ll need firing up but I bet she would give a great one.

Someday there will be another bronze statue on campus. Possibly a street will have a new name somewhere.

Indeed she would. I hope her last one for the football team will be in Texas!
The State of Montana is Bobcat country.

I think we should go back to the old days when they used to have the skydivers bring the game ball to the field. She jumps tandem and she has the game ball. Top it off with a flyover from the Blue Angels…..and an ass kicking of course.
Punters are people too!!

If it is a street, I have 3 nominations. Kagy, Grant, or South 7th. South 7th would be cool because it leads right up to MSU. Kagy and Grant each span athletics and education.

I think you do Grant st, and then you could have her statue as a centerpiece in the new closed off area.

Horseback riding and skydiving, are you guys trying to kill off poor President Cruzado before she gets a chance to enjoy retirement?
Maybe a safer option is to bring her down on the field so she can be the first one to touch the Great Divide trophy after the Bobcats win tomorrow.

Well, if we're gonna dream big, maybe we put some rodeo chutes in the end zone, and she comes out riding a bull named Monte. Guaranteed 8-second ride.MSU01 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 9:53 amHorseback riding and skydiving, are you guys trying to kill off poor President Cruzado before she gets a chance to enjoy retirement?

Or maybe an octagon on the 50-yard line and she wrestles a live bear.....

Re: Cruzado's Last Cat griz
I'm pretty sure she has super powers so she will be just fine on the back of a horse. Plus as much as I love the horse entry, it seems to go by too quick. Maybe this way they can all run out and line up on the goal line facing the students section. Then the last horse with Cruzado sets it off!MSU01 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 9:53 amHorseback riding and skydiving, are you guys trying to kill off poor President Cruzado before she gets a chance to enjoy retirement?

But, if you want to go the Great Divide trophy, she might as well hoist it over her head in front of the students section. She is super human after all

Good luck keeping her from being there first on her own.MSU01 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 9:53 amHorseback riding and skydiving, are you guys trying to kill off poor President Cruzado before she gets a chance to enjoy retirement?

I wonder how the search is going so far. I wonder if there is a strong internal candidate.4KornerKat wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 10:48 amGood luck keeping her from being there first on her own.MSU01 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 9:53 amHorseback riding and skydiving, are you guys trying to kill off poor President Cruzado before she gets a chance to enjoy retirement?

I will always remember that she was a "Can Do" person as soon as she arrived on campus. And having a winning athletics program was part of her "can do" attitude.

The band has a special tribute planned for her, it sounds like it'll be pretty cool. On the news story, they were excited about performoimg it for her.
