Horseback riding and skydiving, are you guys trying to kill off poor President Cruzado before she gets a chance to enjoy retirement?

Maybe a safer option is to bring her down on the field so she can be the first one to touch the Great Divide trophy after the Bobcats win tomorrow.
Good luck keeping her from being there first on her own.
I wonder how the search is going so far. I wonder if there is a strong internal candidate.
How is our Biology department coming along with cloning?

Ha! Well a bit safer option would be to have her riding in on an ATV with Chanp following the horses and letting her out in front of students.

OK fine! We can settle for the ATV! No kidding though, the crowd would go absolutely nuts if she did.
Maybe she needs to get an email from the department to give her the idea

The band has a special tribute planned for her, it sounds like it'll be pretty cool. On the news story, they were excited about performoimg it for her.
It would be nice to see UM's band there too...wonder if they all had to sell plasma to afford the trip over?

What a great last Cat-Griz for Cruzado! The picture of her hugging the trophy was just sweet. From the honor during the game, to the marching band playing that song just for her, to a 12-0 finish for the team, it's a day she won't soon forget. The icing on the cake would be a National Championship. But she's probably content to go 1-0 for now \:D/

Cats are now 8-6 vs the gris in the Cruzado. So great to send her out with a winning record. She might be the ultimate #GrizSlayer

Put her in at middle backer for a play. She would not embarrass us.

It's not her last Cat Griz.

She will have a few more in basketball.

Not many university presidents get a reception like Waded received before the game and then at halftime. Huge cheers for her.

Thanks to her for taking my alma mater to a height I frankly never saw possible, along with all the donors whose commitment to academics and athletics is being noticed nationally in attracting out of state students.

She's got to be one of the most popular college presidents anywhere. She's so loved by the students. She's made such a huge impact. I actually feel a little bad for her replacement having to fill such big shoes.

Even the gris fans were on their feet clapping for her. That speaks volumes.

Not sure how many noticed this, but Cruzado was dressed in the band’s uniform and led them as the conductor. How many university presidents would do something like that? As leader of the university, she never forgot how important it was for students to enjoy the experience and have fun!

It's very possible that there never has been, nor ever will be, another leader of MSU so visible, so approachable, so genuine, and so caring as President Waded Cruzado. I have a tremendous amount of respect for her. She truly, truly cares for the students and the overall health and well-being of the university. This was never a stepping-stone position her; her mission was to make MSU the best university in the country.

We were at the selection show Sunday in the fieldhouse when my daughter approached President Cruzado and told her that she was the reason why my daughter choose to attend MSU. You could see the tears well up in President Cruzado's eyes. I could never have imagined that situation taking place when I was a student at MSU. Hell, I'm not sure during all my years in Bozeman that I even knew who the school presidents was!!

I am so happy that the football team sent her out on top for her last Cat/griz game. So fitting for a woman who has made MSU THE best university in the country.

I'm not sure about this, but it seems like everyone at MSU (at least in athletics) follows her lead. The players, coaches, and other staff are well-spoken, polite and friendly. They're positive and confident, yet not unrealistic or cocky. She was just walking to her seat before the selection show event at the Brick and everyone in the stands started applauding her. She stopped and acknowledged them.

MSU and the Athletics Department have a great group of people in place right now and it all starts with Cruzado at the top being someone who truly cares about and sees the value in having a strong athletic program. Leon Costello was an amazing hire as Athletic Director. The last four football coaches were exactly what MSU needed at the time they were hired and Coach Vigen is the perfect fit to finally push MSU over the top and win a National Championship. Maybe it won't happen this year but I truly believe it will happen soon if Vigen stays at MSU and continues to recruit this well. Sprinkle and Logie for men's basketball have been awesome, and so has the ability to retain Coach Binford for as long as they have in women's basketball. Volleyball has had a bit of a down year but they swept the Griz and are only a year removed from coming within a couple points of the Big Sky championship and then making a run deep into a post-season tournament. Track & field has consistently great results and even finally took down the NAU juggernaut last year in Men's outdoor. We have it pretty damn good right now, you'll never be able to replace someone like President Cruzado but hopefully they can find someone who has the same kind of priorities for strength of every aspect of the university that she has embodied.
