Re: Attendance
If that were to happen, then we might as well just include in the bill a frigin statue of Leon Costello, change the name of the stadium to Costello Stadium, and give Leon a million dollar bonus because that guy has been nothing short of amazing in his tenure here.

Re: Attendance
My opinion, which isn’t worth much, would be to replace the east side with same pitch and height of south end zone, connecting as close as possible. New box suites on east side and add about 1,000 seats below BAC windows, but somehow keep cabanas.AFCAT wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:21 pmRead through these threads. This has been discussed a bunch of times already. There is even some discussion about it in the new indoor facility thread.Monymony wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:13 pmWhats your opinion on closing the corners in and adding seating below the windows? Could they turn that lower section into a VIP/premium section of some sort?AFCAT wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:06 pmNow, put the scoreboard pilings and BAC in there, don't block the windows, and raise the seating up eight to ten feet to include the proposed party area underneath the stands and reevaluate how much seating you get.aucat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 3:26 pmGo to “virtual tour of Montana State’s 20 year athletic plan” on YouTube and you’ll see quite a few seats added in the north end zone. The end zone is “enclosed “ on the lower level to pretty much complete the bowl. I would think this part of the 20 year plan should get priority after the indoor facility is completed

Seats or cram in more people into the standing room. It's amazing how many fans above the capacity MSU actually gets in the stadium.Bocephus wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:56 pmLooks like we need 4,000 more seats to pass a certain school.BelgradeBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:51 pmhttps://herosports.com/fcs-football-202 ... ders-bzbz/

Waiting for the announcement of the big Cat fund-raising effort to expand the stadium with suites and seats (to get 1,000 more than UM). Largely Yellowstone Club-backed, I heard. I think Montana is also in the stadium expansion mode too, but I haven't heard anything specific.
I heard this too (again; from someone else) yesterday as the radio guy was doing a remote broadcast from a bar in Anaconda. Don’t think he talked about it on his show so it’s probably not official yet but it was discussed before the show. Apparently, Denny Washington put up some big cash for an expansion at WaGriz and the bubz group is putting up even more. The numbers I heard were like $150m vs $250m”

Don't sell yourself short. That's the plan except it'll be about 2,000 seats and no cabanas in EZ. New seating capacity will be 23,027.Bocephus wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 5:03 pmMy opinion, which isn’t worth much, would be to replace the east side with same pitch and height of south end zone, connecting as close as possible. Re: Attendance
Count me as one Cat fan wanting to proceed cautiously with any financial donation from Yellowstone Club. I recognize they likely could muster up a significant sum however I am not in favor of them getting any special recognition or naming rights. A club with financial entrance requirements above and beyond 99% of all Montanans (just a guess) definitely does not represent the same values as Montana State University.

Re: Attendance
A couple weeks ago on Colters big sky breakdown, Gregorak said something along the lines of “a little birdy told him about some expansion stuff” but it was a passing comment and he didn’t expand on it. It caught my attention but figured maybe I heard wrong or he misspoke.
That’s still likely the case, but kind of interesting now that this is being talked about.
