Chance and a few other players did the toking mimic near the end of the Sac State game on the sidelines. No big deal if they smoke, but didn’t love seeing it on the field. I’d feel the same if they mimicked shotgunning a beer, especially with next year’s QB doing that, which is what happened.
I don't generally have much use for potheads, but either way - it's not a real good image for the team...or the school. Hopefully they had a talking to.

And, yes, I had the occasion to partake as a youngster as well.

Looking at the attendance the gris didn't break the 13000 number, 12800. Less than half full.
Eddie George says at 6:19 into his press conference that the noise in Wash-Griz was as loud as Baltimore, Wisconsin or Penn State.

Yawn.

If Chance Wilson can be an average QB next year, MSU will be a top 5 team.
I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do this spring and in fall camp.

There are some portal guys that will be worth a look, too, but I like what I’ve seen from Chance in limited time this season. Wasn’t wild about the “smoking” celebration I saw on the sidelines during the Saf State game but if it isn’t tested for these days, oh well, I did the same in college.
That motion probably means something completely different than it used to.

Gotta love that Griz press ask that after every win. Haven't heard the question yet after a home loss.

What’s the smallest crowd in the last 20 years? Seems like they haven’t added seats there in about that long.

I think I read Hauck has only lost 4 games at home since his return. 2 would have been this year which is crazy. Won a lot on defensive or special teams td,'s.

Definitely more than 4. Two losses to MSU, 2 losses this year, plus several more.

Another chapter in dUMb’s long search for confirmation. It’s a sad story indeed.

“Hey, Eddie. Eddie! We’re big time, right? You think we’re cool, right? Right?!”

“Yeah, you’re pretty good.”

“Eddie said we’re big time.”

So pathetic.

Yep. That guy's such a class act they could have played Northern Colorado and he probably would have said it was one of the louder crowds he's ever heard.

Yep and most coaches will be complimentary of the opposing players that made big plays to beat you.

Definitely more than four, but only lost once to the Cats there in 2018. 2016 was a Stitt loss.

They lost three times at Wa gris in 2018 alone.

You're right. I was counting the 2 win at Wagris under Choate but the first time Stitt was the coach, not Bobby.

So you think and speak for Eddie George? Why take the time to mention Baltimore, and Wisconsin, and Penn State, and compare them to Missoula? Why lie?

Switched to the NAU game. It’s cool to hear the enunciator guy calling this game. His style is certainly different. He called the playoff game against SHSU and the playoff game against Weber.
I love Ted Emerich! I always think of that SHSU game when I hear him on the call!

Because it costs him literally nothing. It makes everyone writing stories say nice things about you and he can do again the next place he goes to no one gonna say hey wait… I thought said um was the loudest because no one there will remember it.

Being in the public eye teaches people like George how to speak at things like this. Toughest place to play, best coached team, talent everywhere, and loudest. None of those things are quantifiable but heaps praise even if you don’t mean one word of it.

4 home games in a row and 8 home games total. They better hope they win at least 6 of them or the crowd might be under 10k for the Brawl.
