His O-line is not good, hard to blame him for that. Who knows how good he could be.

This might be the worst take I’ve seen this year. Gillman is one of the best RBs in the conference. His blocking sucks. He would be first team running behind the donjoy mafia.

Ha. I hate being in a situation where I’m “defending” a griz player…. But yeah, he was national freshman of the year last year. If I remember correctly he was one of the highest rated recruits the griz have got in a long time…. The guy is absolutely legit, and a homerun threat every time he touches the ball.

That’s also been one of the biggest question marks this year with the Griz coaching- they have two absolute weapons with Bergen and Gilman…. But they never involve Bergen in the offense and kept Gilmans rush attempts very limited???

It's not your Bobcat bias, it's their crappy offensive line. Put Gillman on the Bobcats running through the holes the Donjoy Mafia opens up on a regular basis and he'd be putting up the exact same numbers Humphrey and Jones have.

I think he has been banged up all year, thats why Ostmo was getting more touches than him. Once Ostmo went down then he was kinda forced to step up.

This has been obvious since Hauck attacked Fife after a TD drive and then did the “hug” photo op later that half.

A year ago I was saying he was going to step down. Upon learning more about the situation I don’t think he’ll leave for at least five years. It’s my understanding that the big money boosters will bail including the top two and they’ve combined to put more money into the program than the next 20 top boosters and most of them are Bobby people. UM has a super easy schedule next year and it will get them in the playoffs and probably a very high seed. The fans, like last year, will consider this improvement and continue to keep Hauck from getting on the hot seat.

One portal guy I'm curious to see about is Matt Sluka from UNLV and previously Holy Cross. Interested to see who gives him another chance after he bailed on unlv after 3 games this year.
