Davis and USD got the shaft. It’s the best QF matchup and they are on ESPN +

Agreed. Instead, it’s another partially filled Farago Dome for another biSon route. Meh
griz fans; keeping it classy and gracious in winning since ... well, never.

It must have been on a network. I remember watching it with some of the redshirting players at a friends house.

Re: TV for playoffs?
Mentally prepare yourself for that to continue. If all goes as it should this weekend, my guess is that MSU will play the 10am game so that NDSU gets the primetime spot. Which would really stink!!! People may want to look at motels now for Friday night.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2024 11:23 pmOf course NDSU gets the ABC game :roll

Re: TV for playoffs?
NDSU is central time, vs MSU mountain time, maybe that will help fo us to have the 2nd game, and NDSU already has the ABC game this Sat.CodyCat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 10:37 amMentally prepare yourself for that to continue. I remember watching on our "huge" 24-inch console tv, you know, the one with pliers for a channel changer. Was curious, so just found an article from the Great Falls Tribune in 84. The game was carried by Satellite Program Network and broadcast on five channels across Montana, and three in Louisiana.AFCAT wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 9:31 pmIt must have been on a network. No way we play a 10 am game. The NCAA doesn't do that to anybody. The MWC and Pac12 experimented with it for one year and said nope.CodyCat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 10:37 amMentally prepare yourself for that to continue. We'll see. I'd bet money that NDSU gets the primetime spot. Especially since its likely to be the DSU's.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 11:47 amNo way we play a 10 am game. Last time we hosted the semis we played at noon. We won't play earlier than that when the other game is in the Central time zone.CodyCat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 11:54 amWe'll see. Re: TV for playoffs?
I was looking at my ESPN app and it indicated the Cats game will be on ESPN and ESPN+, is that accurate does anyone know? I'm trying to get to the game but it's not looking like it's going to work so I'd like to watch it but don't have ESPN.

Re: TV for playoffs?
I've always found the app to be accurate, so if it says ESPN+ it should be on there.

Well, here's hoping. I would love to be there in person, but if I can't I could go to a local bar and watch but really like screaming at the TV in the privacy of my own home, haha!

Re: TV for playoffs?
I’d take that bet based on geography alone. Dakotas aside it just wouldn’t make sense no matter how big of a hard on they may have for the DSU’s.CodyCat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 11:54 amWe'll see. I mean, the team would be out there warming up in the dark at 7am. Tailgating at 6am? Nothing about that would logically make sense.
The dakotas will kickoff at noon eastern, 11am local, and we’ll kickoff at 3:30 eastern, 1:30pm right here in Bozeman. If not there may be riots.

Re: TV for playoffs?
Hopefully that's true. I've seen it before where they say that, but unless you're logged into ESPN+ with a TV provider you can't watch the ESPN+ stream. I'll be going out to a bar to watch this game to play it safe.Montanabob wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2024 10:11 amThe playoff games are showing on ESPN and ESPN+ according to the ESPN site.....

Re: TV for playoffs?
FWIW, IF we keep winning, all 3 of our remaining games will be nationally televised, 2 of which will be the only game on that day (all times MST)
*F Dec 13th @ 7:00..............ESPN (only D1 college football or NFL game being played that day)
*SA Dec 21st @ 10:00/1:30....ABC (hope it's 1:30)
*M Jan 6th @ 5:00...............ESPN (only D1 college football or NFL game being played that day....probably why it''s on Monday night)
Not sure why semi's are on ABC and not ESPN...???
*The semi's on SAT Dec 21st.....there will be 3 other games on besides the FCS semi's...SMU@PSU(10:00 on TNT), Clemson@Texas(2:00 on TNT), Tenn@OSU(6:00 on ABC)....so likely not near as many viewers as tomorrow night, or, for the FCS championship.
GO CATS!!!
