Who is more important to return from injury this week, Scottie Humphrey or Rohan Jones?

If they're at 100% think it's Scottre Humphrey as we have capable tight ends filling in behind Rohan and our rushing numbers were buoyed by a very dynamic Tommy Mellot performance against Idaho. Having Scottre in the backfield brings a different level to our inside run game that Adam Jones and Colson Coon haven't replicated. On the other hand, Rohan's explosiveness and reliability from the tight end position is hard to duplicate even with Hunter Provience (missed Idaho, played against UTM), Rylan Schlepp and Ryan Lonergan stepping up so well in his absence.

I feel 2024 Mellott makes bigger impact in 2021. BOBCATS will have more rush yards and fewer pass. Need Humphrey more.

Here is a big picture NCAA question. It looks like on a national level, “student athletes” are going to become employees of the university. Why wouldn’t a school (all the schools) make their players sign a non-compete contract? If the athletes want to play by employee rules, then they need to play by all of them. In the business world, higher level jobs do this to keep the employee from going to the competition, couldn’t/shouldn’t schools start doing the same?

Or you have to finish the season to get paid full amount. Larger contracts need buyout clauses.

100% want to bring in a transfer. Actively recruiting several. Have to be the right scheme fit though.
