Well, so far, there hasn't been the max exit that some on here thought would happen in grisville. Bobby from the outside looking in seems like an odd duck (to put it nicely). But, I had my reservations that the lockeroom was toxic and there would be a whole bunch of guys hit the portal. Of course its only Tuesday so more could leave.

Three points here:

- It's been two days...

- Very many of Montana's returning players are not talented enough to transfer "up" or to anywhere "better" than Montana

- By the time next off-season is in the mid-point or whenever the timing might fall, the thing that will be the most detrimental will be the players who have a year of eligibility remaining that choose to not use it or choose to use it elsewhere, just not sure when that news will come out.

Winter portal doesn't open until December 9th, and hopefully we wouldn't hear any potential news from Bobcat players until.aroind a month after that!

The winter portal closes on December 28. I’ve heard unconfirmed speculation that Scottre may enter. Would obviously be a huge loss to the offense if we were to make it into the title game if he jumps in the winter portal.

Anyone got a beat on that?

For playoff teams doesn't close for 5 or 7 (not sure which) days. Issue is likely more players getting enrolled to be able to play spring than it is getting in portal.

I personally think Huot is doing himself a dis-service by not leaving. It's clear that Ah-Yat is Bobbi's guy at QB. I guess maybe Huot thinks he's gonna compete for a starting job, but I'm not sure he's even taken a snap in two years in Missoula. He will be relegated to backup next season.

Oh yep I just read that with a quick google search. It’s 5 days after their last game. Disregard my initial comment! Can’t imagine anyone would jump before their last game.

Who is good enough to go up? Gillman, Wilson, maybe Brown? I guess Jackson thinks he can. This was my exact thoughts last year when gris fans bashed the cats for having so many guys transfer. I think the cats would have Connor Moore, Fleischmann, 3 Rbs, maybe Taco & Roban, Kenny and Paul probably all have the ability to play at the FBS level.

Yeah, I guess I'd have to ask what his definition of "up" or "better" is. Heck, Fife just got an FBS offer to New Mexico State. Is NMSU a better program than um, probably not, but it is a level up. Jacob Kettels was essentially a back-up at MSU and went up to FBS Kennesaw State. Yeah, I know, Kennesaw is barely FBS, but it still is.
