Why do folks think we need these FCS QBs? I wouldn’t want any of the QBs we faced this season. I’m sure that if the Cats thought they needed a QB, they’d look for an FBS dropdown.

Especially FCS QBs that quite clearly don't fit the style of offense MSU prefers to run and that has been so successful for them. I think Chance Wilson will be a great replacement for Tommy and am also excited about the freshmen they've got coming in. The main question to me is the backup QB spot if Jordan Reed transfers out, will either freshman be ready to step in or do they need a transfer guy there?

I like 13 for us. He will get better with time. He has good mobility and I like his arm. We need to ensure our rbs corps is good and solid. Keep as many as possible. Need to grow our ol to block and protect and they'll be just fine. We may not be as dominant as this year but we got the pieces. Defensively we have the back end in place, my question is the dl going forward. I got a line on a p4 dlb edge rusher that can be as good as brody....ijs

Not sure which game it was but Chance Wilson led a 9 min 4Q drive that ended with a TD. That sold me on the kid being the heir apparent.

A couple? Hell I’d say the majority of throws he’s made have been on the money drops. At least it’s happened enough that every time he tosses i actually expect it to be a drop.

No it’s not. Yes they do have to Portal but just because they do doesn’t necessarily they automatically follow Eck. Some might be entering just because they want to control who coaches them and not wait for an unknown coach to come in that didn’t recruit them.
