This is good news for the competitiveness of the playoffs. The Ivy will probably get two teams in each year, and it will limit the at large bids by one. Will be interesting to see if they are similar competition wise to the Patriot, or more similar to the CAA and SoCon.

Well it is a Tuesday bowl game featuring a 6-6 team.

This is good news for the competitiveness of the playoffs. The Ivy will probably get two teams in each year, and it will limit the at large bids by one. Will be interesting to see if they are similar competition wise to the Patriot, or more similar to the CAA and SoCon.

Also good news for the competition level of the FCS. Ivy has some good football traditions but aside from non conference games, never had a stage to prove their competitiveness against the rest of the FCS. I can't help but think this should also improve their ability to recruit.

I love bowl season. It’s one of the only times a football team with six regular season wins gets to declare themselves “Champions.”
