Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
I haven't seen this posted yet, and I think it's critical so that prospective rookie NC attendees - like me hah! - won't get ripped off.
Sources I've heard of thus far:
NCAA official site
AXS
others? Would appreciate help from everyone so that this is a useful resource for ALL Bobcat fans.
@kmax , feel free to sticky, merge, or whatever you feel should be done.
Thanks!

Re: Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
Vivid, stub hub, gametime, seat geak, the ncaa uses AXS for this game, etc. All are good and guaranteed or your money back, which doesn’t stop imposters from selling you a fake ticket, but nonetheless they are all reputable and they make it tough to upload fake tickets. When I have sold on stub hub, seat geak, and vivid they verified my tickets before it let me post them for sale.Used all of them many times, except gametime. Used stub hub last time for additional tickets to the game, no issue. I am looking at buying some additional standing room ones from gametime this time due to fees, depending on who all is going.grizzh8r wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 10:04 pmI haven't seen this posted yet, and I think it's critical so that prospective rookie NC attendees - like me hah! - won't get ripped off.

I’d take 3 if you still have them. But it’s a bit weird when you’re selling tickets and you have a very new profile here…..BobbyHoax wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 11:00 pmI may have a line on 4-6 tickets from some SDSU friends. Re: Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
I posted this in another thread. The only way to know you aren’t going to get scammed is to buy them off of the NCAA site which uses the AXS app. It’s the only way to guarantee they aren’t a scam.

Don’t try to buy them from a random person on Facebook. I’ve heard of a handful of people getting scammed this year for Cat/gris.

Talking to some Cats fans who went to Frisco last time after the '21 season, they said hundreds of tickets were available at the stadium an hour before kickoff from local scalpers/sellers in person. And all the tix were way cheaper than anywhere online. Like $20-$50 per ticket for that game. No reports of any scams either.

Anything Facebook needs to be done in person. Always get a phone number when dealing on Facebook.

Re: Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
I've got 4 extra tix - section 110 on the NDSU side
I bought 4 more on the good side
but if anyone wants them DM me - I can do an AXS transfer and not make a dime on them
in '21 I waited too long but did end up getting SRO tickets - I'm getting too old for that!

Been a Cat fan my whole life and just joined Bobcat Nation this fall because I was looking for Cat/Fizz tickets for myself and heard this was a good place to get reasonable priced tickets that aren’t upsold. Can give you my phone number through a message on here so you can give me a call!MTnative wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 12:09 amI’d take 3 if you still have them. Re: Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
There is a guy on Craigslist that has 30 seats available for $125 per ticket. He wants you to private message him. Front row on the 50 yard line, but he seems like a great guy.

I joined the jacks ticket pageand they have a lot of fans with tickets they don’t want to sell straight through AXS to avoid all the BS fees they stick you with. I have 4 more I found for $208/piece. I’m just trying to help get more of our fans in the stadium. Last time I went in 2021, it felt like we were outnumbered by the Bizun fans…

FWIW, based on the experience of others I know......paying the AXS fees is well worth it.......just my 2 cents.BornBobcat2000 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2024 7:02 pmPM’d youBobbyHoax wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2024 1:05 pmBeen a Cat fan my whole life and just joined Bobcat Nation this fall because I was looking for Cat/Fizz tickets for myself and heard this was a good place to get reasonable priced tickets that aren’t upsold. I wonder if you can buy SRO tickets the actual day of the game??

Re: Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
I would think so? Also, as I mentioned in another thread, seeing the ticket priced creeping down just a bit. If you look at Vivid Seats,(which we've used a lot and I have never heard of anyone having a problem getting scammed on that site - has anyone else?) there are SRO tickets listed for $175 +fees, and seats open all over the place starting at $228 +fees and they go up from there. When I go to the actual official site, they don't show SRO tickets there for some reason, does anyone know why? I wanted to compare prices.

Re: Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
I’ve said this a few other times/threads but I am pretty sure this is because SRO has not actually been released yet. Those secondary sites are speculative sales before release, don’t buy them and wait for the actual release of SRO from the NCAA. I think last time they released those around a week before the game.catatac wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 1:21 pmI would think so? Re: Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
Ok, thanks! Interesting... because as I've said, we've bought concert and sports events off Vivid quite a bit and have never had a problem. I'm wondering what it would look like if I actually purchased some SRO tickets, i.e. what they would send me..... if they don't exist yet. At any rate, I am planning on waiting as you suggest anyway but just interesting.kmax wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 1:26 pmI’ve said this a few other times/threads but I am pretty sure this is because SRO has not actually been released yet. Re: Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
Maybe this is more hoping
than reality but.......I'm thinking there's a chance there won't be the 'demand' from Bison fans for tickets that there's been in the past because..........
- This is most likely the only time the Bison haven't been favored in the Natty
- They realize that they don't have the dominant team they once did (not to say we'll win just that it will be very competitive)
- They've already been there multiple times and since they're not favored this year, this could be the year a lot of them elect to stay home

Re: Legit Sources for Frisco Tickets?
I'm with you. Even on the highest demand years, the tickets prices have always dropped a few days before that game. So I'm waiting, but yes I also get the folks that bought their tickets immediately - just for the peace of mind. I just hate to see people get gouged, like my buddy in 2021 that panic bought 4 tickets $700 each immediately after the SDSU game. The MICKSTER wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 2:08 pmMaybe this is more hopingthan reality but.......I'm thinking there's a chance there won't be the 'demand' from Bison fans for tickets that there's been in the past because..........

Maybe....the ticket prices are dropping ever so slightly....especially on their side of the stadium.....I'm not going to wait til I get down there to buy but won't wait too much longer.....
