While the rest of the family watches A Christmas Story for the 383rd time, put this on the laptop. It's a condensed version of the NDSU-USD game which was the game that gave us the number 1 seed. No sound-just the plays.

Polasek way easier to like than Entz and it’s not even close. Still hope we crush them on the 6th.
My opinion is Entz coaching style probably set North Dakota state back couple years. Polasek is likable and pretty sharp

Tommy is winning his final game. My prediction is that we are celebrating a Natty all throughout the 4th quarter.
Couldn’t agree more.

There is a reason for Tommy to hold back — he got hurt against NDSU in the first quarter in Frisco and our chances of winning went to zero. He’s a special weapon and we need him on the field, running or not. No one else can make that offense go like Tommy. So, Tommy, be smart. You’ve learned a lot, Mellott.
Prior to the USD game, Tommy had run the ball about 80 times. That's only 20 more than Coleson Coon. They held back all season. This is Tommy's last game, so if he has to run it 20 times, then that's what he'll do. A nice little bonus is that there won't be much of that on this year's tape.

I didn’t watch the whole thing, but a few things stuck out to me.

When NDSU brings pressure, USD picks it up VERY well. I can see Rohan playing a critical role there in the backfield giving Tommy that extra 1-2 seconds when the blitz is coming.

USD got two coverage sacks on their first defensive series. That is the kind of start we need. Throughout the first half USD brings pressure but even when NDSU gets the ball to a receiver, USD is in position to stop the play for 2-3 yards. That comes down to solid line backing, so Bobby needs to get Neil Daly coached up for this one.

NDSU is absolutely susceptible to big pass plays. Taco and Ty should both have opportunities for a good outing in Frisco.

USD RB corps might be a bit more physical with the way they run, but we certainly have the players to attack NDSU between the tackles AND along the edge. I think this is the key to the game for MSU.

Biggest takeaway: MSU just looks better to me. Tommy and co. should be bringing home the natty this time.

Any highlights, or recommended parts to skip to for the good stuff? I don't have any more room in my life for another long podcast right now..... LOL!

The ungulates' tackling was ASS. I hope it's that bad on the 6th.

Do I even want to listen to them? Haley brown noses NDSU so much he needs an extra roll of tp to wipe his butt chin from the excess that dribbles down.

The older I get the more tolerant I get. Seems like I can learn something good everywhere. But I definitely don’t bite hook line and sinker just because they have a national show.
