Disagree on some of that. As was pointed out in another thread, there are a lot of reasons why WSU is NOT a good fit for him. Honestly I think he could do way better. Also, Moscow/Pullman area..... ugh. Granted, it's not Cheney, but it's not Bozeman.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Re: Wazzu just lost their HC
Some people would consider "not Bozeman" to be a good thing these days with all the changes and growth happening there. Not trying to start an argument here, but it definitely isn't for everyone.catatac wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2024 3:08 pmDisagree on some of that. Re: Wazzu just lost their HC
Although Bozeman is much different than 10-15 years ago, IMO Bozeman and SW Montana is way, way nicer than Pullman and eastern Washington. Not even close.Cataholic wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2024 3:14 pmThis is 100% correct.MSU01 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2024 3:11 pmSome people would consider "not Bozeman" to be a good thing these days with all the changes and growth happening there. Heard from whom?
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Re: Wazzu just lost their HC
If he doesn’t leave this year, it will be soon enough. I’m pretty sure he’s looking to coach FBS ball for $1.5 million a season to start and then retire back to Bozeman with much more money in 15 years of he wants. COL in Pullman alone makes this a great move, even if it only lasts 4 years.HelenaCat wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2024 3:17 pmAlthough Bozeman is much different than 10-15 years ago, IMO Bozeman and SW Montana is way, way nicer than Pullman and eastern Washington. Keep in mind that I said, "I'm told..." I also posted that I was told that there's no way he'd take the Wazzu job. Soo...

Were you also told he wasn't going to coach in Frisco? That just seems ridiculous to me if that were true but, ugh..... not a big fan of all the speculation and rumors.

I'm now told that the person that had this info misheard. Wow! My bad all the way!!! I take full blame. I almost didn't say anything, should have stuck with my instinct on that one. I'm put myself in timeout for the rest of the day.

That's it Tom. When I see you in person I'm only buying your second beer. You can get the first round on your own!
