Maybe Vigen hired Rodgers to be his DC. I mean that’s how little legit info there is on this.
Come on now…

The fewer coaches we lose, the better, obviously. Even if Vigen leaves, it will hurt less if he takes less of his current staff

Jackrabbit nation has jumped on the crazy train. They are now claiming there is a Jackrabbit team meeting at 4 today.

I’ll stoke the fire a bit more. Jimmy Rogers follows a few Washington state things like their fan page go cougs on x. Might just be a coincidence but who knows.

Long time poster (since 2006) on the Wazzu board posted that it's Rogers

Bruce Feldman posted on X it’s Jimmy Rogers (sorry don’t know how to cut and paste X link)

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I think we dodged a bullet

I’d say The NY Times is a solid source

Thank God we won the semis. I really do think that’s the difference here. Rogers is free right now, Vigen isn’t

My guess is if Vigen was choice #1, they wanted him to skip the chipper and he wasn’t willing to do that.

A big advantage getting deep into the playoffs each year. Better chance to keep players and coaches.

I would guess we came up with some more money or Vigen wasn’t willing to take their offer and they moved on to Rogers. This is a BIG jump for him.

This will also benefit us when we play SDSU for Goldrush next year.

There's also the possibility that WSU didn't want to wait to announce the hire until after the FCS championship
