Wow! I'm wrong. He started with the OC and DC. I can't believe Gundy still has a job. He'll be gone after next season. Here's Vigen's next job.

Reminds me a bit of Hauck. Isn't a great coach but will always have a job because he's in tight with the big boosters.

6’1” - 265 - FB - no stats that I can see. Big kid and probably athletic if at FB. We are stocked at FB and TE so wonder if he would play defense?

Vigen has made it pretty clear that he prefers to develop high school players (which seems to be a winning strategy).

None of them are still playing and most don't in Dec, so looking for the quick fix.

Because it isn't how you build a TEAM. Portal guys, at least older portal guys are usually hired guns. Now if you sparingly get you a few here and there after vetting and ensuring their personality fits is beneficial. But signing 15-20 transfers honestly doesn't pan out well on a large scale from what I've seen.

From what I can see the rest of the conference is trying to play catch up to us. I think the way we molly wopped the majority of the conference they realize they are at a huge deficit talent wise. I will go even further and say they have heard about the players we have waiting to play and know that there is a strong possibility of this train continuing to roll going into next year. Therefore they are trying their best to get similar talent to match ours.

I trust these coaches evaluations and methodology of recruiting.
