Well I did hear that he is a quitter who works hard on a team that is not MSU but he is super nice and committed but not really committed and could make between $10 and $100 million in the NFL or maybe CFL but loves UIW but is truly a Hurricane who’s favorite color is pink!CalgaryCat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 12:06 pmI think we can get at least 3 more pages talking about Cam Ward!

I'd rather talk about Clifton McDowell and whether MSU could be the 29th college team he plays for next year.CalgaryCat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 12:06 pmI think we can get at least 3 more pages talking about Cam Ward!

Washington State will be an independent next year correct?
If you’re trying to increase your draft stock is it worth the chance? Probably depends how much NIL money is being offered. If it’s 7 figures I think he should go to WSU

They have a schedule built already but won’t be the new PAC 12 until 2026.
With his SDSU head coach going to WSU, that has to be an attractive option. Maybe more than NIL money to raise his draft stock.
What I don’t understand is how he is getting a 5th year. He has already played 4 full years of football: 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024. 2021 was a medical redshirt. He might have a normal redshirt available, but he already has played 4 years.

Iowa? Didn't their OC from last year go there? He will have his choice of places to go play.

2020 is corvid year, doesn't count, that is why tm was a true FR in 2021Cataholic wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:01 pmThey have a schedule built already but won’t be the new PAC 12 until 2026.

Wasn't 2020 Covid year that didn't count for anyone?Cataholic wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:01 pmThey have a schedule built already but won’t be the new PAC 12 until 2026.

This is so strange to me. Both Gronowski and Tommy graduated in 2019. Gronowski played in 2020 (10 games) while Tommy redshirted. I understand that is was Covid, but now Tommy is out of eligibility and Gronowski gets an extra year? What a strange world of eligibility right now.cats2506 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:20 pm2020 is corvid year, doesn't count, that is why tm was a true FR in 2021Cataholic wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:01 pmThey have a schedule built already but won’t be the new PAC 12 until 2026.

Tommy still has his redshirt, he is considered a TRUE senior, even though he had 2020 with the teamCataholic wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:29 pmThis is so strange to me. Yes. I understand the application of the rules. I just don’t quite agree that two kids who each played full 4 seasons in 5 years should have different eligibility status. What does that do to the record books? An asterisk for every kid who got 5 seasons of stats?cats2506 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:31 pmTommy still has his redshirt, he is considered a TRUE senior, even though he had 2020 with the teamCataholic wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:29 pmThis is so strange to me. Yep. And going forward, a redshirt can have 4 regular season and 3 or 4 playoff games as well.Cataholic wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:34 pmYes. I understand the application of the rules. Most of the career records will be broken with the eligibility rules moving forward

Gronowski didn’t play the ‘21 season. He got hurt in the spring title game. Jacks QB when they came to Bozeman was Chris Oladoken.Cataholic wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:29 pmThis is so strange to me. Their OC went to Northwestern. Which would probably be a better choice than the PalouseGoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 1:03 pmIowa? Didn't their OC from last year go there? He will have his choice of places to go play.
