I see a chance that several players could decide that MSU is no longer the right fit after this trip. I think this is the correct take. Outside of the ones we know are leaving due to being seniors, I'm guessing we won't be gutted like other programs have been thus far. Maybe that's wishful thinking on my part.

I can think of one player that could've been tempted to leave because of how last night ended if he wasn't a Montanan. Otherwise I think whoever was going to leave will leave and whoever was going to stay will stay.

When’s the last time we beat NDSU in any game?

You're kind of a negative Nancy aren't you?
You're not wrong that we haven't beat them, but the fact that we had them in the ropes last year and lost by 1 in OT and lost by 3 in the Natty speaks volumes to how far this Cats team has come and how very close we are to beating them. Lessons will need to be learned and I have confidence this lessons will be learned.

I know this because there were days when I sat in that stadium with less than 2000 fans. Sometimes less than 1000 fans. The only people that waited after the game were players parents and family. This should sting. This should piss people off. This should make people actually question if we will ever see this program win another National Championship. There will be a day when we move up, and the fact we couldn’t even win it all at this level, in over 40 years is a disgrace.

Correct. The top of fcs has closed on them significantly. Including us. Tip of the cap last night, their stars made more plays and they tackled really well in 1x1 situations. That's it. We're right there. Keep building.
