Really getting sick of Omar Aigbedion. Every Bobcat that goes into the portal he retweets with the eyes emoji. I wasn't under some impression that he had an axe to grind against MSU. Not a single post about the team in the Natty. About the DJM. Just portal entries like he's promoting players leaving. Really crappy against the school that developed him and gave him the ability to be where he is.

If it was about friendship he would have promoted their success on the field. He didn't promote one thing about getting to Frisco, about bonkers run game numbers, only about leaving MSU.

There are quite a few people on here who seem to know how much money some of these guys are making in NIlL on their new teams. Just out of curiosity…..what is the most an FCS kid can expect. Is a $500,000 kid at a power 4 worth $50,000 at FCS?? $10,000 and all the Pickle Barrel’s you can eat. I have no idea as I have never seen what a good FCS kid can expect at the This level.

I feel bad for the coaches getting back from a disappointing trip and having to re-recruit some of your players. I’m sure they must have a decent idea on who’s leaving…..but the season ended 1 1/2 days ago.

With all the extra eligibility players have had with the Covid year, I've actually wondered if there are any players out there who have gone all the way through a Doctorate degree on their athletic scholarships.

If someone reports a $500,000 deal there's no chance that the whole thing is cash, and two, the contract amount that is cash is not deposited in their account the day they sign.

There's likely a lot of perks and benefits included in the contract's value. And I'll bet everything I have the value of those perks and benefits are inflated. Those perks and benefits would be subjected to completing milestones, and the cash probably works the same way.

I believe half or less of the $500k is cash and the amount that is cash will be paid as it's earned.

I been involved with contracts my entire career. And though none of them I've personally dealt with related to athletes there are lots of similarities and patterns.

I will also add I had a buddy who was a competitive long driver. He had endorsement deals, and he told me none of them were cash. Just free equipment.
