I mean Rohan did leave Maine to come here. I'm a little surprised given his slow end to the season because of the injury but not blown away. We've got guys that will be good at FB/HB next year but probably not quite as talented. Wonder where he will end up.

Yes. But with so many of their "brothers" graduating or transferring themselves it's like an avalanche. I know we expected some, but this is a gutting far different from last year when the Cats didn't even make it as far. To me, this speaks of uncertainty moving forward with so many playmakers leaving. For the ones who already had offers like Moore and Humphrey it made sense. For the ones who were buried on the depth chart, it made sense. Starters, don't make sense.

I'm ready for the Portal giveth part. This taketh away is depressing.

The only kids that are going to stay and develop are the in-state kids. This is why I think you need to look at bringing in 10-15 portal guys each year, and then hoping that the recruits last more than 2 years. It’s a completely different game now.

The importance of in-state recruitment just cannot be overstated in Montana. Those players tend to stay. They are the bones of the program.

Rohan was a great addition for 2024. We will find another in 2025.

The Rohan one is the problem with the portal. These other guys started here, played a few years and developed into the next opportunity. Rohan pretty clearly used MSU as a stepping stone. D**k move, and not one I'll say good luck to.

I guess we have to work hard at another MONTANA based core. They will be the only ones who would likely stay the course. Shame that the FCS has become the FBS playground.

Nah...i disagree....we have recruited well and have talented guys that will step in...only person i see whose talent won't be replaced is tommy...everyone else has an equally talented player that will step in and can give us what the person that is leaving gave us....jmo
