I honestly don’t know what to make of this team right now. It’s just a mess. They may hold on to win this game but it would take another miracle for them to win the conference or the tourney.
They certainly aren't going to win the regular season championship but after what they did last year I wouldn't put it past them to do something crazy again in Boise. I chuckled at Logie in his postgame interview saying that "the best is yet to come". I suppose that's true by definition when it can't get any worse! At least we had a better night than Danny Sprinkle did, I guess.
Why is he saving the best for some time in the future?

I missed the Orange Bowl for this debacle. Logie made a huge mistake when he didn't take that Wazzu job, because he's not gonna be going up any time soon-if ever. We're up one point with the ball well under a minute to go and all of our offensive talent is on the bench. No Agbonkpolo, Goracke, or Walker. He has the slowest, weakest, skinniest lineup in there and offense is running through Jabe Mullins-who might be the worst "point" guard in all of D-1 basketball. Of course we don't score and then that skinny lineup can't stop UNCU getting an easy layup for the win-one of a million easy layups on the night because our athletic 6'10" shot blocker is riding the pine just like last year's 6'10" shot blocker did until he was forced to play because of injury. We are 5-11 and the worst team in the Big Sky-which is not a tough league. This is really bad.
I been trying to tell you yih guys all along that Logie is not a good fit for MSU he doesn’t have a clue. But y’all just kept arguing with me.
Now all ya guys are back tracking finally realizing what I knew last year!!!!!!

The women go for 3-0 in Greeley at 6, and the men look to avoid starting 0-3 at home starting at 7. I know which one I will be watching (sorry @SACCAT ) but hopefully both teams can come away with wins tonight!
You chose wisely..

For all the Debbie Downers out there....

1) I get it, hard to come away from last nights game and not feel all the feelings.
2) Don't give up on this team. There is a lot of talent there, but it just hasn't clicked yet. 7 games have been decided by 6 points or less. YES, they are 0-7 in those games. BUT last night just proves that this team can hang with anyone, including one of the best teams in the Big Sky. Like the Red Sox said after being down 3 games to none VS Yankees.. "Don't let us win one".
3) Miller played GREAT last night, and is really coming along as the "Glue" for this team.

I agree. As hard as it was to watch our team give up a 20 point lead with 12 minutes to go, the fact of the matter is, this team DOES have a lot of talent. At some point something good is going to happen. I could easily see this team going on a run at some point.

I feel like they just need that guy on the team that says "I'm going to go win this game for us" and they haven't figured out who that is yet.

WOW, things were clicking last night until they weren't! UNC did to the Cats last night what the Cats did to Weber and UoM in the tourney last year. That 6-7 minute avalanche in the 2nd half was rough to watch. I think the 3ptr's UNC made were good-great shots with a couple that just went in despite the difficulty. However, the wide open lane that Rillie operated in multiple times could have been dealt with by calling a time out. There was an 7-8 minute stretch w/o a stoppage of play! One of the mysteries of this year is Logie not calling TO's when it looks appropriate to call one. We've got the horses to play with anyone in the conference! Mullins and Jed both played great last night! As did TP, Walker, Pat, and Lecholat! Not having Max on the floor at the end of the game was a head scratcher though. Or again, not calling a TO in the waining sec's when we're up by 1 and struggling to get to the rim with the shot clock running out. A leader will and must emerge or else.

I’m fine with criticisms. People who act like they know more than the coaches annoy me.

First of all, it’s Olmstead. You were watching a different team than I was last year if he was one of the best players. He had a couple of big moments, and lecholat had a way better overall performance in Boise than he did. And who are these recruits of Sprinkle that made the team so good last year?! Anyone who could leave and get paid did.
