Is he leaving? Losing defense coaches too? Some word from Vigen would be helpful tomorrow. Doubt that will happen but this causes some serious concern.

Oh please. This isn't hard you guys. These kids are getting floated huge offers from 3rd parties and they don't want to turn down the potential of going to the Power 4 and getting paid handsomely for it. Moore, Humphrey, Jones, Powdrell, and now potentially Johnson and Polidore are all going to get paid. Dru has a shot at making a lot of money and he likely found out how much in the past 5 days.

As for guys like Alexander, thats a tale as old as time with WRs.

Is this a problem with the program? No...but it's something we better be recruiting for every year. Holes will have to be filled through developing high schoolers (which we are obviously very good at) or finding Rohan's every year (mercenaries). It certainly doesn't feel good but we don't have the collective or FCOA that the Bison have. Adapt or die I suppose.

Future of college football folks. You do have to wonder if we would have won the Natty if it would have changed anything…I don’t know that it would have. Most of these kids are going to go where the money is.

Winning the Natty would have made it even easier for some of them to leave for the money. You can’t get higher than winning a Natty and it’s an easier decision to go for personal goals after that.

We literally haven't even got to our player addition part of the off-season ladies and gentlemen. We are a week from the title game. People have every right to be upset but this is how these things go now.

Polidore, Johnson, and Powdrell leaving takes top talent away from the secondary but we've recruited well there and in high volume. Buckle in and let's at least see who we have added by signing day. SDSU just added like 5 dropdown FBS players. I'm not too concerned.

We lost by 3 points to a powerhouse team who won their 10th. We got beat last year by a blocked extra point in OT. Yes to the same team, but that can't translate to "we can't beat these guys" unless there's something going on in the locker room or with coaches that's causing players to jump ship. I refuse to believe it's all about the money. Is there an Us vs Them thing going on with MT vs not MT players? Are more coaches leaving? Is it simply a domino affect caused by greed for "the next best thing?" I was feeling pretty good yesterday after the Friday "Staying" posts, and no new transfers yesterday. Today, however, sucks!

Yeah I get that, it just seems that the problem is way more pronounced in our secondary than any other position group on the team. Everyone but Dowler is gone. That’s why this is exceptionally concerning to me.

There’s nothing wrong with the coaching staff, and the players aren’t doing anything the vast majority of us wouldn’t do either. It is unfortunately the football world we live in.

I donate every month to the collective and I’m starting to feel the same way. However, I’m trying to view the collective as a way to help the players that are here, not to try and keep players here because we will never have enough money to do that.

Well you seem to be more in the know than any of us, so if you're not concerned I can accept that. But this feels really, really bad.

How the hell are we having more playmakers jump ship than the Griz and all the crap wrong with that program? Locker room issues? Seems spiteful at this point.

I'm telling you it's better to be a mediocre team than a great one in the current Portal era. Hurts an FCS program to develop and invest in players, make them great, only to be crapped on during this time of year. Other than the DL, OL and possibly RB, Cats are getting screwed day by day.

AF on your recruit page, which thank you for doing that, it’s a hell of a lot of work on top of what ever else you have going on in life. Are possible recruited portal dudes shown as a *portal player, or am I best to click on links and investigate? I’m happy doing that, just don’t want to make sure I’m missing something more obvious.
