As for guys like Alexander, thats a tale as old as time with WRs.

Is this a problem with the program? No...but it's something we better be recruiting for every year. Holes will have to be filled through developing high schoolers (which we are obviously very good at) or finding Rohan's every year (mercenaries). We lost by 3 points to a powerhouse team who won their 10th. We got beat last year by a blocked extra point in OT. Yes to the same team, but that can't translate to "we can't beat these guys" unless there's something going on in the locker room or with coaches that's causing players to jump ship. I refuse to believe it's all about the money. Is there an Us vs Them thing going on with MT vs not MT players? Are more coaches leaving? Is it simply a domino affect caused by greed for "the next best thing?" I was feeling pretty good yesterday after the Friday "Staying" posts, and no new transfers yesterday. Today, however, sucks!

I don't think Polidore leaves unless he knows he has P4 offers waiting. I agree with you on the other two. As fans, just don't get too attached to transfer players or our really good high school players. Sounds fun to be a fan!

Future of college football folks. You do have to wonder if we would have won the Natty if it would have changed anything…I don’t know that it would have. Most of these kids are going to go where the money is.

Winning the Natty would have made it even easier for some of them to leave for the money. You can’t get higher than winning a Natty and it’s an easier decision to go for personal goals after that.

AF on your recruit page, which thank you for doing that, it’s a hell of a lot of work on top of what ever else you have going on in life. Are possible recruited portal dudes shown as a *portal player, or am I best to click on links and investigate? I’m happy doing that, just don’t want to make sure I’m missing something more obvious.

Right, what we have like a 1.5 days for incoming announcements for Spring Ball. Looking back I really screwed myself out of using a medical when I could have or not transferring to Oregon, but then I thought it was freaking awesome that I got an education paid for.

I don't think Polidore leaves unless he knows he has P4 offers waiting. I agree with you on the other two. As fans, just don't get too attached to transfer players or our really good high school players. Sounds fun to be a fan!

I get that Polidore probably has P4 offers, but I don't see him being a starting safety at a P4 school, unless it's a bottom feeder. It's crazy SDSU and NDSU have had so many guys return to try to win titles, or in SDSUs case, go back to back, yet we can't keep guys trying to get one. How much more money does NDSU have than us to keep Lance??
