Totally agree. I think both the O and D lines are going to absolutely dominate next year.
It’s such a huge element and I agree they’ll be very good with a chance that the DL will be one of the best in school history which is saying a lot. Definitely a top three FCS DL.

It’s going to be a dog fight at LB and the secondary. I think Gray at NB, Taki and Dowler are the only locks there.
Should see a decent chunk of our transfers being those dual S/NB types much like Caden and Tayden are. I see them bringing in at least 3 corners.

Can Dowler stay healthy a whole year is the big question

It’s only natural to say that after someone has been injured a couple times but I tend to think that it’s more of a coincidence than the player being injury prone. I think some people are more prone to injuries based on bone strength and how they’re put together but I don’t think very many football players at this level have that problem. It’s mostly just a coincidence. I think some positions in football are more prone to injury but I think it’s pretty rare that any individual players are.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

That is true, but knee injuries just seem to have potential to reoccur especially there have been multiple ones.

Taco told me that his brother is progressing well. Told me they did a different type of ACL surgery this time since it was on the same knee and that he is already running and jumping. He explained the surgery but it was way over my head. Matter a fact he said he is jumping higher now than he was prior to the injury. So that’s a positive, in these dark ages.

In the other threads you talk about talking to a player about the offers he is getting to play and then you just said you talked to Taco here. Sure hope Taco doesn’t leave after spring ball.

I blew up a player? Give me a break, haha. You have no idea who or whom I have talked to since the end of the year.

You’re right, I don’t know. But combined with your other recent posts, at the minimum you’re leading people towards a conclusion.

You are leading people to a conclusion. Your response was just as bad. I didn’t draw any connections until you implied it.

On the OL, I’ll go with Dylan Rollins.

On the DL, I think the trio of MT boys— Sharbono, Marsh, and Wiens are going to make an impact.

I’m excited to see what Steele can do coming back from injury. I thought he looked very good at the spring game last year.

Was thinking about him recently as well. His brother Coy exhibited tenacity over adversity and would seem that his little brother has that same character.

I need to look at the roster because I forget which one is which one! Is Dane the one that has the skill set maybe as a strong safety? or nickel

Dane is the slot receiver. Brock is the SS/NB.
