WBB vs ISU

ISU starts out with the hot hand, but Picton is ignites a run to take the lead.

Nice little 30-8 advantage in the second quarter there for the Bobcats. Picton and Philip are red hot from outside. Kudos to @SACCAT for working in a Bob Uecker line only a few minutes into the game!

So many weapons on this Bobcat team. They can run players in and out with little drop off. Gotta be very wearing for opponents.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

Impressive 2nd quarter! That press was suffocating and the offensive rebounds back breaking for the Bengals.

This team is SO fun to watch! Relentless defense all game long. Every player comes in and contributes, giving 100%. So many good basketball players on this team. Binford has done a great job recruiting and developing players.

Coach Binford just "emptied the bench," which means she put in the one player who hasn't been in yet.

What’s so impressive with Binford is she knows WHEN to sub with that deep of a bench. I remember in high school my coach would tell us, subbing was his weak spot.

Sure helps when your backups are just as good as the starting five!

They play hard and fast. I love it. The men’s team should be forced to watch every ladies game twice.

I can’t wait to watch them live on Saturday.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Cats were down 19-14 after the first quarter and outscored them 80-35 from that point on. MSU has had some major battles with Idaho State over the years so a nice blowout win is always fun to watch. Hard to tell that MSU had the "backups" in at the end as they were still dominating the game.

I watched this one start to finish and decided to skip the men’s game. I’ve had an enough heartburn this month.

Some great stats in this game. MSU shot exactly 50% from the field, 50% from 3-point range, and 80% on free throws. They were +21 in turnover margin (29 forced, 8 committed) and quadrupled ISU in assists (24 to 6). All 12 players for the Bobcats scored and the bench outscored the starters 58-36. I think they're pretty good.

I think I know how to solve our free safety opening on the football team. Taylee Chirrick would be all conference. She is absolutely relentless on defense-great anticipation getting the passing lanes. She gets a steal and loses it just to get another steal. She also rebounds like crazy. What a player!

I love how aggressive our younger players are getting on offense. Philip doesn't hesitate to take that three and knocks it down. This was also the most aggressive I've ever seen Picton on offense and it is great to see. Playing against Morales in practice (I presume) has really sharpened her game. And when Picton and Chirrick are in together on defense-havoc ensues!

Idaho State started out being Idaho State. Super aggressive, run you over, knock you down, don't help you up, etc. They started out really hot and had the lead at the end of the first quarter. But when they wore down, Binford just put in another wave and it was lights out. Just an incredibly dominant performance.

Given the rivalry between the Cats and ISU this has to be one of the most fun games to watch in awhile. Starting out behind and then blowing the doors off the old orange and black. Setton didn't know what hit him. Eighteen steals during the game... at one point six points in seconds of steals while ISU tried to inbound the ball! This is the premier team of MSU right now! We just had a hell of season of football the these ladies are going to make it a hell of a season of Basketball! Go CATS!!

Natalie really put on a show...that final three looked like a heat check. She just dribbled it to the 3 point line and thought "I wonder if I'm still hot"? Afterward her face looked like "I don't wanna wake up!".
I bet she wished that there were about 10 minutes left. She was 1 assist short if a double double, 5 steals short of a triple...Last year was really good for her. She has developed her skills as a point guard way beyond where most sophomores normally are.
Coach Binford has done a great job handling that many talented players. It appears as if every one if them are having fun. I was glad to see Izzy Bunyan contribute.
