I was hoping he would come back for one more season, but the real world is calling, and at some point, we all need to answer.
I was hoping to see him back in the Blue & Gold again next season, as well. I think sometimes we forgot how hard being a college athlete is, especially a football player. From being a full-time student to full-time training to finding time for a social life. Add in the grueling aspect of weight training, eating enough calories to maintain, the bumps and bruises from all the beatings you take in practice and games. It takes a toll. Sometimes enough is enough is even bigger than the love for the game.
Good luck to Cole on his next adventure in life, and thank you for your time as a Bobcat.

Not surprising at all that Cole decided to move on. He was a true freshman with UM in 2018, so 2025 would have been his eighth season of college football had he decided to return.

Junior has to be on of the all time great MSU success stories. Do you all remember the circumstances around him coming to MSU? Life could have gone a very different direction for him.
He absolutely made himself into a success story, and it's awesome that MSU played a big part in that.
I could not be happier for him.
Monte eats corn the long way.

Yep. Every time some of these guys get antsy about being all of that and a bag of chips. I think about JR. He took advantage of the opportunity he was given and changed his life

I guess he didn't want to go up against MSU's defense next year.

They probably will get tested but keep in mind that a lot of P4 teams sit players with minor aches/injuries in these kinds of games. Maybe Oregon won't do that after what nearly happened vs Idaho.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Well, I didn’t actually take those photos, just copied them off the press guide. I have a rather large collection of old MSU press/media guides, game programs, and other stuff.

C'mon, there's gotta be something better than that.
I notice that the finished product is bigger than the watercolor. The upper portion goes out further.

I will not accept 'Ko Ko the monkey."
However....
The rendering is also missing the first level of suites and the sides aren't finished.

So…….whatever happened to the on-campus hotel that was to be constructed? Seems all that talk just faded away.

Isn't that what's being built by the parking garage? And if not what is being built by the parking garage?
