WBB at Weber SOON

Post by CatRowdy » Thu Feb 13, 2025 5:48 pm

Weird start time tonight 6:00pm
Girls should have a good game and put Weber away even on their home court!
Antoniette Emma-Nnopu #7 and Taylor Smith #20 seem to be the players requiring extra attention.
But we ought to be able to tire them out. Our depth is awesome.
Ogden's crowd could double tonight if they put on an extra janitor; but other than the silence the crowd should have no bearing.

If our girls rebound well... .game should be in hand quickly.
Let's hope we don't get lazy an get in foul trouble.

Go CATS!!

Noone there. We need to make a shot. We've controlled this game and Weber makes the first 2 points with almost 4 minutes into the game.

Weber's D is actually pretty stout. Not much space to get off shots. We need to make the shots we get though.

Weber is playing tough D. And the Bobcats are getting the benefit of the refs so far. Bobcats up 21-16

Does Taylee shoot threes without jumping? I can't tell if she's just shooting flat footed or not.

Very similar to her free throws where she uses very little leg drive. A school of thought on that, especially free throws, is that you stay more consistent that way as your legs get tired as the game goes on.

I like the guy announcer. These two definitely good at giving props to our players.

I still think the best way to go is sync up Daniel Salle on the radio with the tv.
Once synced up you have to adjust sometimes after commercials... but still way better than most away announcers.

Don't get me wrong they aren't super good announcers but he's kind of fun to listen to. He's upbeat. The woman giving Coach Bin's son and daughter a shout out by name.

Oh yes, that crowd is overwhelming... If somebody breaks wind it will be noticed.

True but twice the student section has counted down "6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1" and tricked our team into rushing a shot with plenty if time on the shot clock.
