Today's games:

#1 MSU vs #5 ISU at Noon
#2 NAU vs #6 UM at 2:30

#1 UNC vs #5 MSU at 7:00
#2 UM vs #6 Idaho at 9:30

I still find it hard to believe that the MSU men have now won 12 total tournament games in the last five tournaments since 2021, when they had won a grand total of three combined games in the twenty tournaments between 2000 and 2019 (two in 2009 and one in 2019).
Maybe you were at the pre-game kickoff at Parilla Grill too. But Coach Logie came in and said that Sam Lecholat and Tyler Patterson had only lost one game each at the Big Sky tourney in their 5 year careers. I just had never thought of it like that.
I'm watching from home this year and saving my money for a potential trip to the NCAA Tournament if one of the MSU teams makes it there, but I think it's awesome that Coach Logie recognizes the accomplishments of Sam and Tyler in particular. Both have had incredibly impressive careers and will be remembered as among my all-time favorite Bobcats!

Both Idaho and the griz have their bands here. Idaho brought a big band. The Vandals have the best school song in the conference which annoys me to no end. Winner of this one gets NAU tomorrow.
Their band is very good. How annoying.
I'm not annoyed by their band, I'm annoyed that their school song is so good.
The bands make a huge difference. Montana, Montana State, Idaho State, Idaho, and Weber State brought their bands this year. NAU rented Meridian High's band-which is better than nothing.
I'm not annoyed by their band either. On the contrary - they're really fun to listen to. I'm annoyed that they're better than our band.

I won't be able to handle it if we get double rivalry games for the championships

First and goal, clock winding down. That's Humphrey! It's TOUCHDOWN MONTANA STATE!

Ehh. The women are going to drill the griz tomorrow. It won't be close, NAU shouldn't have been. The men though is a bit different. I will say the Cats competed against them during the regular season while playing nowhere as good has they are right now. Sending them home from the title game for the second straight season while winning both men's and women's titles would be a bit of salve from January. Need to get this one tonight though.

By far the most exciting game I've watched the last few days in terms of suspense right until the end.

Back to the horrible offense. 0-8and probably 6 are 3s and unc is all shots in key.

Idaho and UNC have the best music schools in the conference. If a person wants to major in music those two are where you go. Jazz especially at UNC. So I could see Idaho having a good lot of kids in their band.
Strange that UNC didn't send their band.

I think UNC is a pretty low budget operation. They've never brough their band to the Big Sky tournament. Went to a football game vs the Bobcats in Greeley a couple of years ago. Our section was right next to the UNC band. Some of our fans were talking to them and they said they only got snacks despite working all game day. One of the MSU fans bought them all pizzas.

Class act. Too bad they don't invest in their programs more.
