Thrilled that the women pulled it out, but really disappointing preparation for their biggest game. They choked but got lucky. Tremendous season nonetheless, but this should not have been a close game.

Outside of Morales the team shot 12 of 40 from the floor. Griz shot 47% from the floor and 40% from 3. Couldn't close out with a lead late.

But despite the sour grapes, delighted they are going to the tournament. Obviously they had a regular season that fully merited a chance to play in the NCAAs.

Hopefully they will play a lot looser and hopefully they did enough in the tourney to grab a 12 seed.

I thought it was more that the Gris had a great game plan and played their asses off.

The Grizzlies were playing with house money and MSU, sans Morales, was tight. Happens all the time. Happened in NAU vs UM. March Madness. Nothing against UM, but they’re not in MSU’s or NAU’s league.

I was getting pissed. We made some mistakes for sure. Glad we pulled it out but still.

Again they interviewed Esme and then done. Broadcast over. Griz game yesterday they kept the broadcast going for at least 20 minutes.

Redpath sucked that game. I was on my phone so I couldn't switch to another broadcast. She was totally phoning in for the griz. My favorite was after the game she says something to the effect of its so exciting to go to the big dance, I've been there, who do you want to give a shout out to? What was that?

If Nate Harris hasn't coached himself into that coaching job I don't know what to say.

12 of 40 is not due to the other team (of far inferior talent) having a great game plan. We did that to ourselves.

But really not trying to have sour grapes. They had an incredible season-- arguably their best ever-- and got it done. Full kudos to them.

Just would have been a shame to come up short after such a subpar effort.

They weren't letting us get open. He had the same game plan yesterday. Let the best player score and make everyone get taken out of the game. From what I saw we didn't switch alot like normal on D and they were making us pay.

Not sure that was the call. I think the play call was to screen Esme and get her the ball. Griz over played and left Marah open.

100 percent. Glad they pulled it out because on the basis of record, combined with an NCAA berth, this can safely be called the best Bobcat team of all-time. If they hadn't gotten that NCAA trip, they probably couldn't make that claim.

They really deserve a 12 seed given their performance.

How is it chocking. Hard to play at level they did first 2 games, 3 in a row. Such big early leads, making shots, everyone plays free. They had not had to face adversity in the tourney. They did and figured out a way to win

Agreed and Cats held them to 57 even with those %'s. That is still good D even with shots not falling.

Nobody should be throwing around the word "choke" about this game. Unlike the first two Bobcat opponents the Griz came out and played a fantastic game. The Bobcats overcame and made the play at the end to win it. Both teams should be immensely proud to have been involved in that one.

And Esme was fouled probably 3 times on the play. Bumped her, held her, she wasn't getting the ball.

I have good friends who played for the Lady Griz. I'm not a Lady Griz hater. But, if I want to listen to one of their homers. I'll tune into the griz radio broadcast.
