I turned off the sound and synced up Daniel on the net with ESPNU. Redpath is awful. It would be one thing if she wasn't such a homer for he beloved griz. She just can't help herself. I have good friends who played for the Lady Griz. I'm not a Lady Griz hater. But, if I want to listen to one of their homers. I'll tune into the griz radio broadcast.

She sounded so dejected at the end of the game. It was quite awesome. Lol

Thrilled that the women pulled it out, but really disappointing preparation for their biggest game. They choked but got lucky. Tremendous season nonetheless, but this should not have been a close game.

Outside of Morales the team shot 12 of 40 from the floor. Griz shot 47% from the floor and 40% from 3. Couldn't close out with a lead late.

But despite the sour grapes, delighted they are going to the tournament. Obviously they had a regular season that fully merited a chance to play in the NCAAs.

Hopefully they will play a lot looser and hopefully they did enough in the tourney to grab a 12 seed.

I thought it was more that the Gris had a great game plan and played their asses off.

The Grizzlies were playing with house money and MSU, sans Morales, was tight. Happens all the time. Happened in NAU vs UM. March Madness. Nothing against UM, but they’re not in MSU’s or NAU’s league.

I’ll tell Dani B. That according to you Tom, that her and her teammates don’t belong in the same league as NAU and MSU.

That is a very talented lady griz team. They’ve been through a ton of turmoil and I give huge props to Coach Harris for getting them through and ultimately making them shine. They played a really good game, no doubt. And the Cats really didn’t play a very good game. In part credit the griz, but some very uncharacteristic mistakes and ice cold shooting slumps definitely made this game close.

They'll likely be a 12 or 13 seed, although several other teams in that range are still playing their conference tournaments and might still lose. Being a 12 seed would be huge since at that point your first round game is a neutral court game and not a road game.

I hope Harris gets the chance to be the head coach, he earned it. That championship game was sure a nail biter and credit the lady griz for not giving up. Never a griz fan, but willing to give credit where it's due. If not for Morales having a career game, and Dykstra following her shot (didn't see that happen much throughout the rest of the game), the ending would have been far different. Sure hope the Lady Cats get a good seed and keep on winning - GO CATS!

Everyone should listen to the end of this when Nate talks about how they decided to play on offense against us in the second half. They didn't get lucky against our D, they earned it with a good coaching decision. If the griz don't make him head coach they're fools. But I kind of hope they don't because we saw him take a griz team with no direction and in crisis to a team that we needed a buzzer beater to beat.

Krista Redpath is the absolute worst. CT repeatedly needing to say something good about the Cats over the top Krista's homer-isms. At one point after a brilliant high-low post exchange for an easy bucket, and in complete disbelieve, she slowly said "the Bobcats showing a little offense". Even the whole NAU semifinal, when not talking about herself and her legendary history at um, she felt the need to voice her opinion that Glancey should have won MVP. There should be serious conversations about removing her from this position next year.
