Re: Spring Ball 2025
Really starting to look forward to next season. I know this team lost a lot of key players to graduation/portal, but I think there are just as many players that have been waiting for their turn that will make a big impact.
The Bobcats are starting to remind me of what NDSU/SDSU have done in terms of having the talent to reload every year. Credit to the coaching staff for recruiting excellent players and developing them.
After the championship game i really felt like they missed their window for winning it with the great players that were graduating. Now I am starting to think that window is just opening for the guys coming up. I don’t want to wish away spring and summer…..but I am definitely looking forward to September!

They’ll likely split carries. Davis is likely in more short yardage situations, Jones likely in passing situations.blueandgoldblitz wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 8:19 amWho do you guys think is RB1 come September? Julius Davis or Adam Jones?

I like that electric city duo at linebacker! Bonus question- who was the last starting linebacker for the Cats from Great Falls?VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 2:52 pmVigen has named the following players at some point during interviews during spring ball (not including known commodities):blueandgoldblitz wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 1:45 pmAnyone have any good intel on players that may be showing out or breaking out?

Yes, MSU is the same as NDSU/SDSU in that regard.MinnesotaBobcat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 8:33 amReally starting to look forward to next season. Unless the QB is a complete disaster or there are some unforeseen injury or off field issues, MSU should be at least a semi-final team in 2025.

Bingo. Chase had one of the most viscous-decleating hits in Greeley. Pretty sure he still be suspended if that happened today!BroncoCat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 10:06 amChase Gazzero?Common Cat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:47 amI like that electric city duo at linebacker! Chance. Now that Reed moved to receiver it's basically Chance's job to lose.

I’m guessing that it was closed. I’m guessing MSU’s website will have something.

Yes. I have no inside info and have not even been following the progress of the QBs but given River's background, he'll definitely have a CHANCE to prove what he can do and could possibly be named the starter. Same with Justin Lamson. The best QB will start. Ya, rocket science I know.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 1:31 pmVimSince03 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 1:19 pmChance.
