Lot's of young athletes on school visits around the PNW the past few weeks. Saw this young man visited today. I'm not going to post all of the visits, just an example of what I'm seeing on twitter.

These guys are from LA. They are traveling around visiting multiple programs in the PNW. That’s one heck of a coach to take his players on visits like that and not just to camps.

Always like it when the HS track meets have the weight throwers assemble a relay team for the fun of it. But Schneider has some serious speed for a big guy. He's actually on the main 4x100 crew. Impressive.

I know you’re poking fun, but generally, you’re correct. The longer the distance the more the hand time inaccuracy is diminished. Being a tenth or two off doesn’t matter much in a mile, makes a huge difference in a 40, or even 100. That’s why you often see a big difference between the top track times in Montana during the regular season and at state. State is always laser timed, and while it’s getting better, a lot of meets in the state aren’t.
