Things not to post on a recruit’s twitter. Don’t be this person. If you are this person, STOP IT!
Random fact. That’s one of my good friends holding the M in that photo. She got it signed by the 2012 (I think) team. One day, she gifted it to me and it’s hanging in my office.

We have coaches and collectives actively recruiting players on other teams that aren't even in the portal. I'm not sure there are any rules left anymore, even for just giving out advice on where to eat. You're right though, I don't engage any recruits on social media.

I don’t so much care about commenting. But telling a 16/17 year old on a recruiting trip to try the fried spinach at the naked noodle is just dumb.

I believe the popular vernacular at present time would be to say that it’s “cringe”.

If you really want to see “cringe,” look for the gris “fans” that comment on Cat recruits and commits on social media. For some reason, they are also very active on anything to do with Bobcat stadium or it’s game day atmosphere.

That may be the one I reported and blocked a while ago. Very creepy.

Might mean nothing, but Mark Hamper just started following a bunch of MSU coaches on Twitter.

It's going to be a wild ride until the last portal window closes. I'll say this...I think the promises from these FBS P4 programs not being kept will continue to have a positive effect on FCS schools.

He had committed to Wisc in December and then decommitted, correct? What happened in-between? Sounds like a good one if we could pick him up.

Who knows? I’d didn't know he committed to Wisconsin. Could be another Scottre situation where the big offers fell through.

College players get to thinking they are “all of that and a bag of chips” too! It’s easy to sneak the fine print past them. Then they wake up and realize the offer isn’t what they thought it was. Hard reality of life. Sad thing is it can damage the futures of a lot of young men and women. Hopefully the learning curve is short.
