I was sorta surprised to see Adam Jones picked as the offensive player of the year. He had a great season last year as a freshman, but if Julius Davis is healthy, is Adam even the featured back in our offense?

With how few returning players there in the Big Sky this year it pretty much came down to Adam, Eli Gillman of UM or Ty Pennington of NAU as the best returning QB. I think it's a pretty good bet to say that one of the incoming QBs for the top teams will actually end up winning the real award, but at this point who knows which of those guys will end up being the best player. Or in MSU's case, who the starting QB is even going to be.

With the conference moving to a 9 game schedule and our 2026 non-conference schedule already set, does that mean week zero next year will be a conference matchup, and possibly the same format going forward? I'd be a fan of our opener being in conference.

Also, I hate the new schedule template on the website. Way too generic but the entire country must be moving onto one platform.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Seems like the opening game in 2026 will have to be a conference opponent unless MSU can find a way to modify its non-conference schedule as it currently stands. With today's news about the Las Vegas game they'll also need to buy out or reschedule the game against Drake in 2027 that was scheduled to be played in Bozeman on Labor Day weekend.
