Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

One of the most candid and refreshing interviews in a while. What a joy. Love when you see an athlete love being a Bobcat like we do.

Titan is in incredible shape. He’s 6-4, 300…looks like 260.
Yesterday, I looked at Tom and said, "Marcus Wehr was a great player, a beast of an OL that should've gotten a shot based on his tape, but that guy will get a shot purely on what he looks like."

Absolute specimen. Flat stomach at 300 pounds, which is just absurd
How does Braden Zimmer look if you noticed? Roster is still showing him 240 pounds but I'm guessing it just isn't updated yet. Also, if he is in fact up to 280 he has some splainin to do to GTapp. KIDDING
That height and weight is obviously just a flawed copy and paste.

Zimmer is 6-foot-6 and 280-285.

Funny story....at the State AA basketball tournament in Missoula two years ago, I was sitting with my high school linebackers' coach, who is Matt Johnson, still the head coach at Missoula Big Sky. He was telling me about Matt Ludwig, the man known as Moose, who's going to Michigan. Said he was the biggest freak he'd ever seen in Montana. And he coached against Matt Miller, Brock Osweiler, both Dissly brothers.

Later on, I was watching Billings West. And for the first few minutes, I thought Zimmer was Ludwig. And it fit the bill: a raw but super athletic guy with a huge frame. Then I actually saw Ludwig, and couldnt' help but think he looked like a 250-pound teenage Troy Andersen...but was still really impressed with Zimmer.

I've heard nothing but crazy praise for Zimmer. Vigen brought him up as one of the players to watch on the offensive line and he did in the spring as well. Rumblings within the program are that he has true next-level potential. Gotta get into the starting lineup first, but his ceiling is high.
Zimmer was all-state in hoops and was selected to play in the Montana-Wyoming All-Star games but opted to play in the Shrine Game instead. Not only does he weigh more than 240, but he's also probably taller than 6-6...at least that what he thought when asked during his Midland Roundtable interview with Scott Breen. “(I) haven’t been measured in a while, but 6-foot-7, 6-foot-8 … somewhere in there,” is where the Billings West big man estimates his current height.

Been watching a few of these, haven’t gotten through all of them.

I may have missed one earlier, but this was the first time I saw Sterbick address the media. After watching the Spring game and hearing him speak, our offense keeps evolving in the right direction and I’m excited to see what he has in store for opponents.

Vigen is always very professional and a bit reserved in what he says. This interview was basically a copy and paste of his last few. The one bit in both interviews that I noticed is his addressing of our backs and although being excited for what Adam puts on the field this year, he will be the first to let the media not forget about Julius. Only a personal opinion and a big if, IF Julius stays healthy he will have a monster year.

Lastly, I have been excited for our defense this year, with the young talent we have been recruiting and the older talent we retained, I have thought this will be a huge year for them. What I love to hear from this unit is the fire they have and that they are going in with a chip on their shoulder. We will have a stout line and our backs are FAST.

My gut and heart tell me this is going to be another exciting and special year. May have a few growing pains early on but I feel good about this one.

If you actually follow the links onto YouTube and view them there, there are quite a few more interviews that are not posted here.

Jeez, and I’m trying to catch up on has been posted! Living in other states near larger colleges and since moving back, between the coverage, community involvement, we have it and access, we have it so good.

I thought this was a great listen. He certainly seems like he has a high standard for what he wants. Love hearing him talk about how they need to be violent. Hopefully it translates to the field.

Gotta love the honesty about Oregon by Hout. lol

Got a kick out of something Smith said that no one else has mentioned even though they’ve been asked about it. Lamson had a good comment too. He’s pretty competitive.

100% what I was going to post about his Oregon comments, lol. Normally coach speak is like, we have great players too, great opportunity to show the world what Bobcat football is all about, these players are going there to compete and win the game, etc.
