I called Spectrum today, and was told they don't carry Fox One. I signed up for the free trial through Roku.coloradocat wrote: ↑Sun Aug 24, 2025 1:33 pmThanks for the tip. There's not much to check today but looks like it worked for me, I was able to view a soccer game.
Also as an FYI. FoxOne has a free 7 day trial... which should give access to the Oregon game.

I think your Spectrum rep was incorrect unless it is by tiers. I googled FoxOne and then it prompted to enter my tv provider. I entered my Spectrum and logged in with Spectrum credentials. It had me create a FoxOne account and I am logged in and seeing the Cats game on the schedule.John K wrote: ↑Thu Aug 28, 2025 8:05 pmI called Spectrum today, and was told they don't carry Fox One. So I'm gathering tomorrow's game isn't on regular\network TV? I had assumed I'd get it on regular Spectrum, or ESPN Plus but after Googling it maybe not.RockyBearCat wrote: ↑Fri Aug 29, 2025 10:40 amI think your Spectrum rep was incorrect unless it is by tiers. @John K and @catatac
Double check your Spectrum line up. We didn't get big10 previously with our plan but it's there now.
You may be able to get without going through Foxone, depending on your plan.

Just like there is always money in the bananna stand, you can always stream or dial in the game on the Bobcat sports radio network.

Re: Watching games on TV
Because of these changes, if the ESPN app no longer works on your smart TV, uninstall it and reinstall it. I had to do this to make it work on my Sony (Android) TV. It would start and quit almost immediately.blueandgoldblitz wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 12:59 pmPiggy backing off this thread, I wanted to let everyone know that with ESPN's new streaming service things are a little bit different this year than it has been in the past. ESPN+ has been renamed as ESPN Select. Everything about it after that should remain the same, you still get the same programming and it should cost $12 a month.
On top of that, ESPN has a new streaming service called ESPN Unlimited that gives you access to all of ESPN's live programming (like whatever is on the main ESPN channel, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network, SEC Network, etc.) and is currently $30 a month and includes a year's subscription to Hulu and Disney+ if you sign up to ESPN Unlimited for a year.
This is all to the best of my understanding.
Confused? Then I did my job right!Read more here: https://www.today.com/news/sports/espn- ... rcna226254
Reinstalling fixed it immediately.

Re: Watching games on TV
I totally agree about YouTubeTV. There is a Sports package that I have added. Now we get the Big Ten Network, NFL network, etc. With this and the ESPN streaming package there is rarely a Bobcat event that isn’t shown. Remember that games are always on the network of the home team. Many of the FCS schools use ESPN+. Some use Midco (you know who you are). The bigger the conference the harder it is to find the game without having or paying for a feed to their private network.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote: ↑Sun Aug 24, 2025 2:08 pmJust a question, but if you’re a sports guy, why would you have spectrum, dish, or direct? You can get any all sports with YouTube tv, and I have never experienced a problem with it. There is no contracts and you can add and delete packages as you see fit. It cost $79 a month versus spectrum and the rest that are more than that.
